“I find that wise driving is a good insurance company because they let you have updates of your driving through out the month. They don’t keep sending spam emails and only send emails that are important. I wish I could get emails about my driving at the end of each month and tell me how much money I’m likely to save in the future”

“This company mad a few mistakes to begin but they corrected them quickly and its been fine since. They discounted my insurance by £94 in the first review period because of my excellent driving and my advice to those homage complaining about increased premium, if you don't want that to happen then either don't have a black box or drive as required by the black box. If you drive according to the requirements of your policy then your insurance will go down and not up. Everyone starts on 100% and it is up to you to keep it there. Mine is on 97% because I went out after eleven and got penalised but I still ended up with a huge discount considering they only quoted be 647£ to begin with. There are so many drivers who cant operate or don't operate their vehicle properly and I'm proof that if you drive sensibly and break gently and don't accelerate like a teenager on speed you will get rewarded. In am honesty I won't have a black box next year simply because it adds worry to something that can already be quite stressful but I believe these boxexs work because I'm actually a careful driver paying extra insurance for all the bad drivers ho are complaining here.”

“I was a bit weary about using Wise Driving from reading reviews, especially based on customer service. I saw the 5* and 4* reviews following hundreds of 1*, however I couldn't be sure they were genuine. PRE BOX FITTING- One thing that has made this process slightly easier for me, was their customer service. They were happy to help & reduce my payments for me when I needed to (prior to any box being fitted). I didn't want interest to be added to my payments, they let me pay in full, change some details on my policy after it had started & wavered the £35 admin fee. So far, I cant complain too much (yes the deposit was a little high), organising the box installation was easy- they called me & they asked availability and booked around me... The only downside was 1 person in the call centre basically called me a liar, which I didn't appreciate, however the other people I have dealt with have been superb. Advice for everyone out there- make sure you spend the time finding out each separate charge, why it can be charged, how to avoid it etc. I think the quality of Wise Driving perhaps shouldn't be confused with Close Brother Finance, who are a "loan" company adding interest to payments. I will update my review following a few months with the box- fingers crossed.”

“Fantastic!! ***** my first insurance company found them on compare the market.com After reading reviews I was very hesitant to go with this company but it was £1400 cheaper then the rest. They have been really helpful answering my emails & phone calls also phoned me back after I needed some assistance with the online dashboard Didn't charge me for the black box to be fitted even though it was after the 14 day deadline (if you get an email saying your insurance will be cancelled ring them & check as they are sent out automatically) They have even given me money back for driving safe and reduced my monthly payments I suppose if you drive like a twat your going to pay the price as you are considered a hazard to other road users. Fab insurance company would highly recommend to any new drivers”
