“I was please initial, but when my renewal became due I received an email saying “my insurer was not going to re~new my policy without any other explanation…… With this I didn’t have a choice but to go elsewhere.
I got a competitive quote and signed up.
Grove and Dean proceeded to charge me £900 on my credit card. Then they said I asked for a month’s extension…. I didn’t and clearly there was no reason for me to request this facility. They had the cheek to ask me to provide evidence of this !
So all in all it seems that things went very haywire? Hopefully this was a glitch for some reason and at the end of the day they are probably a very good company, but we all have to be vigilant and make sure everything is in order with any company we deal with. I now take screenshots of everything at all times. Be aware that you need to make a record of any forms you fill in on line because mostly you don’t get a copy and that needs to change,”
