“Odd sizes. Sized down as advised and still too big. Measured their 5.5 against a size 6 and the smaller size 5.5’s were bigger. Customer service very unhelpful and refused to refund postage return despite their sizing being shocking and all off. The sizing issue is bad enough but the v v poor Customer service would make sure I’d never order from this retailer again. Score reflects poor sizing and awful customer service.”

The pair you returned to us were carefully inspected, but no defects were identified in relation to sizing. We’re sorry that the boots were not suitable for you on this occasion. “I have been buying Gabour shoes and boots for many years. Historically, I could have relied upon both shoes and boots being a good fit. Unfortunately, although. Purchased’H’ fitting, both pairs of boots were a little tight. Quality is good but I am not taking any risks as they may give a little bit with wear, I decided not to keep them. I have many shoes and boots with the’G’ fit and are great. Very disappointed.”

“I have quite a few pair of Gabor shoes and a pair of ankle boots.They are all well made and comfortable.Sadly my last purchase just pinched my big toe so had to return them.”

“Update Unfortunately this beautiful shoes are very low quality A lot of scratches I wasn’t able to break them down They are stiff in ankle (my ankle hurts after an hour of wearing them) Customer service said that’s a normal sign of wearing For me- shoes to bucket Of course I have a problem with uploading the photos”

“Im very pleased with my boots from Gabor,they are good quality.very comfortable and thee stye is perfect for the maxi dress I wanted them for but will also be good with trousers,jeans plus leggings.”

“The shoes were beautiful, but I had to send them back as they were a tiny bit big , and I was worried that after a bit of wear they would become floppy on me , I asked for a refund , and will try to get to a shop so I can try on the next size down .”

“I have several pairs of Gabor shoes, I am always a size 6.5, so I had no hesitation in ordering the boots in a 6.5. They were really tight and had to return and pay for the return. It’s such a shame that consistency in sizing is not a priority. I’ve ordered an exchange for a larger size and am hoping they fit or else I’ll have to return them at my own cost too. They look like lovely boots though.”
