“Lovely suede boots . Slim fit slightly wider than the last pair I bought. My platform swede boots bought 2 years ago fitted much better but the boots are comfortable and stylish.”

“Gabor boots are extremely comfortable and stylish and I already own the volcano oil Nubuck Chelsea boots. However I also ordered the dark ocean ones which I thought were navy, and they looked navy in the picture online and given the description ‘dark ocean’. On receiving them they look black, so a little disappointing but I am keeping them.”

“The service was brilliant, but the first wearing of my size 8 G (wide fitting) flat shoes has been a disaster. I have blisters and rubbed skin on my small toe on each foot. The fitting/description says wide, but the shoes narrow at the top. Be careful and make sure you have a large box of plasters!”

Hello, Thankyou for your review. We offer 35 days into which you can return the order to us for a refund or an exchange. With reference to purchasing a new style of shoe, as size is personal we recommed trying them around your home for a number of days until you feel the shoes are right for you. The onus is on the customer to ensure the items are suitable and if worn outside, unfortunately we are unable to accept back a return. If the items have not been worn outside and only tried for fit you are welcome to return them to either a Charles Clinkard store or via alternative methods, these are shown on the invoice within your parcel. “I ordered two pairs of boots but the website kept on crashing, but I eventually got there. I’m thrilled with what I’ve bought, so sort out the crashing issue and you’ll get full marks! The delivery happened so quickly it caught me on the hop - but that’s good - well done!”

“These shoes are excellent commuting flats that perfect for work. I need a pair of shoes that have a small heal as I get bad back pain with ballet flats and these are the best I've seen on the market. They are my third pair and I love them.”

“I ordered items on the Wednesday night and was due to arrive a week later on thew following Wednesday but arrive on the Friday just 2 days after I ordered. But I was not impressed with having to pay return postage which cost me £15 for two parcels insured and signed for but they seem to arrive next day for a refund which was good”

“Shoes came very quickly and I knew that my choices were available in my size. I liked the fact that I didn’t have to pay until I decided which pair to buy. Free returns would be appreciated - it cost me £11 to return those I didn’t buy.”

Hello Thankyou for your review We offer free standard delivery and ask customers to pay towards the cost of the returns. We recommend a tracked service and there are a number of options which are cost effective which can of course be utilised. Collectplus is £4.49 and covers up to 10KG in weight, ideal for larger items and multiple orders. The Post Office have a number of options which you can also use and you are welcome to return to a Charles Clinkard store. The Bristol store based in Cribbs Causeway is the nearest one to your post code and they can of course process an exchange or a refund for you. We as for feedback from all our customers as this helps to reflect the different level of service we offer. “Easy to order online. Accessible web page. Quick delivery. Unfortunately the shoes were too big, so I have to return the package and pay the postage myself. Shipping from Denmark to the UK is rather expensive, which means that I spend money and get nothing. That's annoying, and probably I will not order again.”

“Fabulous! comfortable and beautiful boots. Just a pity my local retailer told me they were sold out. I found them online though which was a great relief. I love the way Gabor shoes always keep to the same sizing no matter the style. They’re the only shoes I wear on my wee size two and a half feet.”
