“Boots are of good quality but I thought I was buying the same style as a previous pair these are proving to be very tight on the heel and am now suffering the consequences.”

“Beautiful boots, very comfortable. The only reason l withheld a star is that they come up very large; l was aware of this so ordered a size down, but they are still too big. I couldn’t be bothered to return and re-order, so l kept them, but I’ll have to pack them with thick inner soles, which is a shame.”

“Purchased this type of knee high boots approx 5 years ago. Wanted to update, and chose these as very similar, but turned out not as roomy around the calf, as the ones purchased previously. Had to return for a refund. Possibly you could make the calf measurements clearer.”

“I bought my first pair of black , knee high Gabor boots about 10 years ago. I have bought replacements twice since then . Now my fourth pair are much needed ( my current pair having reached the end of their life and having sustained a broken zip); however I cannot find them any longer . I think Gabor have stopped making them 😞 I bought a pair of Isla boots but they were not high enough and too round toed; I then bought a pair of Maybe Slim boots, but they were too high and too slim! Alas I may have to look for a pair that aren’t Gabor after a decade of loving these boots!!”

“Love my new trainers. Perfect wide fit which is hard to find. Unfortunately, I did not receive the 10% discount I applied for. However, this is my second pair of Gabor footwear and will definitely buy again.”

“Really pretty shoes but returned because they did not suit my feet. Delivery was prompt. Return process was expensive as there is no prepaid label the order was just under £200 so to pay an additional £12 to return stung a bit!”

“The shoes are a replacement for identical ones chewed by my puppy. A lovely shoe and just happy I could replace like with like. I would suggest dpd are somewhat unreliable at delivering but I got them in the end. Very pleased with the shoes.”

“My first time ordering from Gabor and the process was relatively straight forward. For information, I do not do much ordering of items on line. I was delighted to note that I did not have to set up yet another account as it allowed payment with "Amazon pay". I have marked this review down slightly because having opted for this payment method, I suddenly wondered if I had done the right thing. I had some queries so had to contact customer services and this is where it was lacking just a little, but not enough to put me off using them again. Firstly I went on chat to ask how I would track the order as I had not created a "Gabor" account. The person advised me she could see my order and all was well. I left it at that but still was unsure how to check. Then I decided to look at the log in screen. I realised that I could log in with my Amazon account details, so why not say that or did she know? Having ordered using Amazon pay the code I input for a discount did not work as the basket suddenly changed. After the event, I contacted customer services again this time by e-mail on the off chance that I could still have the new customer discount. I explained that I had tried to use the code but it did not work. Luckily and all credit to the team they applied the discount as a partial refund so I was delighted. The last thing I would say is that it was not clear from reading the return instructions (should I need to but didn't) if it was free when taking to a store. When I telephoned 3 times each time someone picked up and hung up. I then phoned my local store who answered immediately and clarified the situation. Well done it was nearly a 5.”

“Not the most comfortable pair of Gabor shoes I’ve bought. Did not like the patent front as it could easily be scratched. Unfortunately had to return them, so disappointed.”

“They looked nice but were a tad narrower than normal, had a more pointed toe than expected and were too big. I liked the look of them but sadly returned them. I normally like the look and fit of Gabor Trainer Style footwear but these were a tad disappointing. I was also very unhappy that I had to pay for the return - I won't be using that Gabor Supplier again (Charles Clinkard)!!!”

“Love Gabor boots and shoes. Always great quality and delivery was quick. Reason for 4 rather than 5 star was that delivery (and all the delivery notifications) came from Clinkard shoes. I had no idea the two were affiliated and thought I was getting scam messages. This should be made more clear within the purchase flow online”
