“These boots are great! It’s difficult to find half sizes but these fit perfectly and the heel height is just right. I wore them a whole day at work first time - and that involves a lot of walking - and they were extremely comfortable. No breaking in needed at all!”

“Bought these shoes from Charles Clinkard in Shrewsbury. I asked if they was wide fit and the assistant insisted yes they were. Well I've wore them once and not happy with the fit .Ok in the length but hurts across where the chain sits on the outside as it's tight on one foot and rubs hard on the bone of my foot . I've had several pairs of Gabor but this pair isn't fitting like the others do .”

“I always buy Gabor shoes for work. I'm on my feet all day, so absolute comfort for me is essential. Never had an issues with there shoes before, but these are that uncomfortable that I cannot wear them. Really disappointed as they cost me £95.00.”

Thank you for your review. We do offer a full year to return any items that are unworn. If you have only tried within the home we would be happy to accept them back if they are as new. Unfortunately if you have worn them outside we would not be able to do accept them back. If you wear the shoes around the home until they soften (wear in) you may find that they become more comfortable for you. We do hope that this is the case. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

“I love these shoes! I had previously bought them in a stone colour and have now added the black suede. So comfortable to wear for hours on end. And prompt delivery too. Thank you for great service - highly recommended.”

“I am really disappointed with the shoes that I have received. On the webpage they looked like the previous pair I had purchased, however these are much narrower. They hurt my feet when I wear them and have left the backs of my feet with blisters. I don't feel like I can wear them again.”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that the shoes that you have bought are not a good fit for you and that you find them to be tight. Unfortunately once shoes have been worn, we are unable to accept them back. Once your feet have healed, if you wear them around the home, you should find that the leather will warm and stretch a little and also your feel will get used to them. “Requested ful price (£95) pair of sandles. What came was a pair of sandals in a bashed up box, very overused tissue paaper wrappinh anf shoes obvious worn with suede rubbed off over the heels and imprint of feet on both shoes indicating had been worn previously. Not a good advert for Charles Clinkard and I dont think I wil be sourcing shoes from you again.”

“Shoes that I received arrived in a beaten up box and there were signs that the shoes had been worn. At one point my size had been sold out and I guess the shoes I received were returns. I kept them as I absolutely wanted those particular shoes but don’t feel that they were brand new and I paid full price for them. Received a surprise phone call from company and above situation has been resolved in a prompt and satisfactory way which I really appreciated. These reviews really do get read.”
