“I always like to buy Gabor shoes as they do half sizes. However, the Daphne platform sandals were too big and the platform too thick to make walking in them comfortable. I had to return them and pay for postage. I will not be returning to Gabor site to buy, maybe to view and buy in a shoe shop so I can try them on and not have to pay for return postage. I think that if a shop sells online they should offer a free return, especially for items that needs to be tried on first.”

Hello Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear the fitting wasn’t right for you. We ask customers to cover the cost of returns as we offer free postage. We provide a wide range of methods to return your parcel to us from returning in any Charles Clinkard store for free or posting back to us via Royal Mail second class tracked service for as little as £3.30, for example. “Shows arrived in bad shape, definitely been tries many times on and looked creased. I had to pay for return £5 asking Gabor to refund return cost due to bad state of the shoes. Gabor haven't refunded postage. I am not happy and would not recommend to use this website .”

I’m sorry to hear the condition your shoes arrived in, they may have been tried on in our stores, however, they should always be checked by our warehouse team before being dispatched. “Unfortunately, there were scratches on the sandals. The suede looked dirty in sime parts of the sandals.”

“Every pair of Gabor shoes, sandals and trainers I have bought are so comfy. I love that Gabor offers half sizes, makes all the difference to a perfect fit. I am currently enjoying the Waltz trainers. They have discreet elasticated sides and beautiful bows. Just wish I could get these in black suede. Highly recommend Gabor.”

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately we do not have our own couriers and pay an external delivery service such as DPD or Royal Mail to deliver orders to customers for us. This seems to be a service that everyone appreciates. We do ask customers to cover the cost of returns and have a link on our website to CollectPlus where for £4.49 you can return up to 10 kilo in one package allowing you to send several pair of shoes back in one package. Alternatively you can use any courier or mail service of choice, such as second class Royal Mail who charge around £2.85 for one package shoe size, and if you wish you can pay around 80p more for tracking so that you can see when it arrives with us. We do review our terms and conditions from time to time and will pass on your comments. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

“Ordered my sandals and they were replacement for a pair I've had many years, they arrived promptly and as usual they are great! Have ordered many times and even after being undecided and keeping for several months, I eventually returned them and had a refund within days, great service!”
