“One of the shoes had been on display and tried On. Had Gabor shoes in the past but feel the Quality has now deteriorated, certainty will not be purchasing Gabor shoes in the future!!”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you found this shoe to be too small for you. Many customers buy a half size larger if they need more area within the shoe. The extra length is minimal but the area in the front of the shoe makes a huge difference and creates a better fitting. It doesnt work for everyone, but may be worth a try to see if it helps you. “The service & speed of delivery was great. Unfortunately I have had to return the boots, nothing wrong with them, it's just my feet, but the returns system was simple.”

“I bought a replacement for boots that had worn out and expected the fit to be the same, however the calf measurement was about 1cm bigger and so they don't fit quite as well as the last pair. I have slim calves and find it hard to avoid the 'wellyboot' feeling, hopefully these won't annoy me too much.”

“I have not yet received the order as DPD keep messing up the delivery it should hopefully arrive in two days this will mean that it has taken 10ams for delivery. I like the shoes but DPD are useless.”

Thank you for your review, We apologise sincerely that DPD have not delivered your parcel as yet. The reason seems to be at the beginning that there was no house number so they did not know where to deliver. As this was resolved (thank you) , we would expect them to deliver at the earliest convenience. If you do not have your order by mid week this coming week, please let us know and we will arrange for it to be returned and send out a new order with Royal Mail for you. Going forward, if you prefer Royal Mail, if you let us know any order numbers in the future, we can add a dispatch note to send only with Royal Mail. “Have bought Gabor shoes before. The brown suede loafer I purchased recently are so comfortable.I take a 3 or 4 and ordered a 3. Hard to get sometimes in a 3. They arrived and fitted perfectly. So very comfortable and already had a friend who asked me where and what make they were as she liked them.Arrived very quick very happy. Thankyou”

“5th time of buying these shoes after trying numerous other, not cheap brands. They tick every box: comfortable , fit’like a glove’’ have worn for 16 hour shifts & still comfortable, elegant & smart so equally happy wearing them for management meetings . Just love them”

“Your shoes not wide enough, they are hurting me after one use.Not worth the money you charge. £95 for a pair is outrageous. Can you not make wide shoes size 6 wedged black shoes with 3 cm heel and comfort inside the shoes? I am put off by internet buying. I prefer to try in a shop next time before I buy I feel betrayed.”

Thank you for your review. The shoe that you ordered are just a standard fitting and not a wide fit. You do have up to a year to return them to us unworn if you are not happy with the fitting. Wearing around the home until the leather softens may also help. Many customers will get a half size bigger if they need extra room in the standard fitting, as the extra length is minimal but the extra area within the shoe helps to create a more comfortable fit. It doesnt work for everyone, but may be worth a try for you.
