“In my opinion Gabor make the best shoes. I have purchased them for a long time, starting when I was working. They are well made, made to last, some of my shoes are pre retirement, this happened in 2012. Excellent choice of style, colour and type. Just love them. Great you can buy them online, especially if you know your width, great delivery to, and it’s free.”

“Superb quality modern classic boots. I have been searching for low heeled navy ankle boots forever. Having narrow half size feet also is a real nitemare. But no more ur standard ( f) fitting is perfection. Previously bought navy suede wedge sandals. Need navy leather knee high boots next ! Please low heel to.”

“Purchased a pair of trainers that have rubbed my heels. Never have I purchased a pair of trainers that have rubbed my heals. I expect this from some shoes, but not trainers. Contacted customer services who said they cannot offer an exchange or refund as the trainers have been worn. Very disappointing experience for a pair of trainers that cost £115. I have purchased trainers previously from Gabor with no issues. Will take my business elsewhere in future.”

In an effort to avoid such issues, we offer an extensive returns period of 365 days that allows you to try shoes at home to detect problems before wearing outside. Once worn outside, unfortunately, we cannot accept them back. In most cases with continued wear, the material will soften and the skin will become accustomed to the shoes, ensuring future comfort. I am sorry you are not happy with your purchase, if you believe the issue has been caused by a manufacturing fault, you can return them to us for an inspection. “Sadly I could not get the shoes on, though. They did not open up but they are always high end and high quality. I really need an 8.5 or 9 and you do not go up to this I understand. Arthritic issues in the foot so I returned them on Friday without having my foot in them! Just too narrow. Pity as I love the style.”

“A great on-line shopping experience. I ordered both a size 3 and a 4 to be on the safe side. The 4 was a perfect fit and returning the 3 and getting a refund was easy and fast. I have never before been offered a 365 day returns window - extraordinary!”
