“Gabor selection is good unfortunately the colour of my selection wasnt as it appeared on the site so i had to return the item. Unfortunately the delivery man did not read the address label and delivered to someone else down the road. So i had the hassle of searching for my parcel. But Gabor did send me a label to return the boots.”

“Mid calf boot Zola -G- bought a black pair with a good rubber sole and nice round toe cap, found it comfortable so bought the brown swede pair as well. I wish the inner sole was interchangeable with a foamy one and then it would be perfect as I have bunions and metatarsal issues and do a lot of walking.”

“I have a wide foot and find it difficult to find comfortable, well fitting, stylish shoes. Gabor do have a few in their range: they used to have more. The shoe I chose was a black suede court shoe with a small heel and it fits the bill completely - thank goodness!”

“I bought a pair of boots in XL width which were much too wide, but the L width are barely wide enough. Seems strange.”

Thank you for your review. With the boots, there is a set width on the boots depending on the size. L in thesize you got on this order is 41.3 cm width and XL is 44.3 cm. If you get the shoe half a size smaller, then the shaft width differs, L is 39.3 cm and XL is 42.9 cm. I cannot see what size the L you got was, but if there was a drastic difference, wondered if you may have got the smaller size shoe also? This info may also help with finding a boot that is a better fitting for you. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

“It's a great shame but Gabor seem to have made the 'wider' shoes narrower. I already own a couple ofof pairs of their wide fit shoes, which are very comfortable, but this is the second pair I have recently tried that whilst classed as 'wide fit', are to narrow. So although they were very pretty, I had to return them.”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you feel that our wider fitting shoes are not as wide as you have had before. You may find that getting a half size larger helps with the area within the shoe, the extra length is minimal however it does create more room and for many customers works very well.
