“Am an elderly person who ,for at least 10 years now ,have only been wearing GABOR shoes ,they are the only ones giving me the comfort I require . You should see my collection ( of Gabor shoes !)”

“Saw Gabor Hi Top Trainers in John Lewis but did not have my size. Ordered online at £110. Came in next day , box perfect, boots perfect with all transit packing in boots and box. Looked online to see reviews of boots and Gabor had them at £80. If the difference was a couple of pounds I would not have bothered. Re-Ordered online from Gabor on 27/10 and it took ages for them to arrive with no tracking details or emails. Had to ring and was told they were out of stock potentially and might have to come from a store into a hub then out to me. Arrived eventually on 3rd Nov. Box damaged, boots scuffed , no packaging inside boots, display type ticket on boots made an indent. Obviously a shop pair that others may have tried on. Not good at all really but could not face sending them back and trying to get the John Lewis ordered again. I guess the £30 off makes up for the less than great customer experience.”

“The boots I ordered almost 2 weeks have failed to arrive. I paid extra for fast delivery as I needed them for an event on 2nd November. It is now the 8th and there's still no sign of them. Very poor service. And I can't find a phone number to speak to anyone about this.”

“I was really excited to receive my slim boots. Unfortunately I noticed as I took them out of the box that the one was slightly wider than the other. That was the case when I tried them on so I’m afraid I had to return them and am awaiting a refund. I cannot fault the quality though. They are beautiful leather and soft for comfort. Was probably a one off.”

“Ordered Gabor patent biker boots, true to size, perfect fit. No need to break in, comfortable from the get go. Would definitely recommend if you like comfort, style and ok a bit pricy but worth it as I can see these boots lasting a long time.”

“Unfortunately, I had to return these boots as the fold of leather at the top of the outer zip was very uncomfortable. The colour was nice. I’m still waiting for acknowledgment of the return of these boots (4 days ago - guaranteed next day delivery).”

“The Rachel calf length boots I ordered looked fabulous - the box they came in was almost as good. Unfortunately despite them being advertised as a very wide fit, the instep, foot area & calf coverage were narrow making them unsuitable & unwearable for me. So disappointing.”

Some customers find that buying a half size bigger gives them the extra room within the boot to make them much more comfortable.
