“Delivery (and comms) proved a little difficult as ex display and needed to get to hub The courier was slow in progressing the order so a little frustrating not knowing when to expect the product”

“Poor customer service! furniture advertised as 4 week delivery, we are currently at 8 weeks and I have had to chase as no contact or updates. Then advised would receive delivery this week to warehouse when asked if this was the complete order told only part??? It takes days to get a reply if at all then when I asked how Id go about cancelling the order they replied in 20 mins?? saying just let us know and they can cancel order. needless to say I have cancelled and will never shop with Furniture World again. Very disappointing!”

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry that your experience with Furniture World fell so far below the standard we aim to provide. We understand how frustrating it must have been to wait eight weeks for an order advertised with a four-week delivery timeframe, chase us for updates, and then discover that only part of your order was expected to arrive at our warehouse. Although we have been experiencing staffing challenges, this does not excuse the poor communication and delays you experienced, and we take full responsibility for letting you down.

“We went into the Truro branch on Sunday, Matt asked us if we needed help and to give him a shout if we did. We had a few questions about some bedroom furniture, he was very helpful. Gave us prices and measurements etc. we also looked at a new living room suite.! Gave us the prices again.! We came home , talked about it all and called on the Monday ordered through Matt, he called us back within 20 minutes, all ordered and paid for. Great service.!”

“Having looked round several other furniture stores where nothing was quite right, we were delighted to find several sofas we really liked in Furniture World Liskeard. Alex, the sales associate was really helpful and very patient while we finalised our choices. He explained all the options and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. The store has a great selection of furniture and I will definitely head back for future purchases. Added bonus is the free delivery. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Received the display cabinet today . Delivery paying the higher price was good. This item comes seriously flat packed I was so shocked as it doesn’t mention this. When built it doesn’t come with any screws to put the wall bracket on the wall to fix the cabinet to the wall. Again this is not mentioned. I have a cabinet waiting to be secured to the wall just standing there until I can find someone to do this for me. Really upset with the whole experience of this. If you don’t know or live with a handy person this is not the item for you.”

“Bought these chaairs as looking for something relaxing and comfortable and they do justb that. Managed to try out first at a local shop but the price was £150 more per chair, and veryn happy to give Furniture World the order. Bit owrried as 1 box was in a dreadful state but the chairs were well wrapped inside.”
