I have a boat which hadn't been used for a few years and is in storage in Anglesey. I was advised not to start the engine as the petrol in it was old and contaminated. I wanted to get the boat back in the water whilst I was there on holiday, but didn't know how to get it pumped out and disposed of legally. After a bit of research on line, I spoke to Fuel Fixer. They arranged to get an engineer over to Anglesey later on in the day. The job was done very efficiently and my boat is now running beautifully.

5 star all the way ,on time, great engineer, fixed my stupid mistake in double quick time, reassured me no damage was done, excellent service. I was recommended to them by a Mercedes garage, personally I just hope I do not require their services again but old age is creeping up and judgment is not what it was, so I installed there phone number on my mobile, just in case.

After the shock of wasting 60.00 of petrol in a diesel vehicle, I was cheered by the arrival of the van from Fuel Fixer. He quickly located the best place to connect to and proceeded to suck all the petrol from my fuel tank and fuel filter. It was a pretty quick process and he was kind enough to lend me a warm coat, as it was pretty late in the evening.

Due to the wrong fuel in the car we had to have it drained. Fuel Fixer saved us. It all cost a lot of money but car is working fine. The technician who came from Birmingham to Ponterwyd fuel station was fantastic. Job well done.

After stupidly putting petrol on my diesel (1st time in 49 yrs). I needed issue sorting ASAP, after the call , they were there in 50 mins. Great. Then the guy called to say he was 7 mins away. Great. After an hour all was sorted. Great. But £498... really. I'd have given 6* had it have been £300. Still it's a life lesson, and those aren't normally cheap.

I felt it was very expensive and could be cheaper although that said the chap who came out (JAY) was very polite and professional and made sure that my van was running properly even though it meant coming back the next day

They were very quick to get to me and very efficient. My only concern is that it is very expensive. I think the cost should be on based on the amount of fuel to be removed.

Very fast to sort out my problem; the Engineer who came was very efficient, polite, and very accomplished in what he did. Furthermore, as I was going out immediately after his work, he waited for a while to ensure that my vehicle started smoothly and I was on my way. An expensive exercise, the first in over 60 years of driving, but cannot fault the quality of the work carried out.

Good support when initially contacting Fuel Fixer, and kept up to date about expected time of arrival. Gaz was prompt, helpful, and I was soon on my way. The cost of the service was high, but can't fault anything else.

I have a rave review for this company but after I discovered that the £10 of petrol he puts in from his can is not £10 at all - or at least not from pump rates - he empties thé csn in your petrol tank and then gets you to fill it up - that comes to £10 at the pump but I think some is poured into his tank before he gets to you... I would also Google other company's - AA offer this service too, wish I'd known than before I panicked into using this company.

Good morning - we are glad to hear that all was "rave", except, it seems, a misunderstanding over the fuel. When your fuel gauge is telling you that your tank is empty, there can be anything between 5-10 litres of fuel still in the tank, not registering on the sensor. When you then add £10 of fuel, you will notice a difference on your gauge, as you are adding £0 on to the existing 5-10 litres. When we completely drain your tank, there is nothing left in it, meaning that when we only add £10, it doesn't really show up. There's enough to start the vehicle and move it a little way, but you will have to put more fuel in. We always advise that any customer top up their tank, as this dilutes any residual contamination. So, it is not the case that less fuel was put in than you paid for at pump price, only that it looks less as you are used to a different picture. This is a common misunderstanding. Kind regards, Aftercare Team Fuel Fixer Limited
