“The person I spoke to on the phone (Michael H) said that in addition to draining the tank, the fuel jets and pipes would have to be cleared and £20 of diesel would be supplied, hence the cost of £440. He also said that I would receive a paper showing warranty and a contact number. The operator who arrived only drained the tank and said it was not necessary to clear the fuel jets and that the person I spoke to was probably new. I think he said that he was putting £10 of diesel in the tank, but as he was speaking i9n broken English I had difficulty in hearing him properly (No fault of his). However, after he put the diesel in, the car computer screen showed there was only 65 miles to an emptty tank. As my car averages over 60mpg it would seem unlikely that £20 was put in. I did not receive a paper showing any warranty details or contact, I only received a receipt and a statement absolving you from any liability for damage that may be caused by your operatives in attempting to rectify the problem, even if the attempt was unsuccessful. Hopefully the fact that the jets etc were not cleared will not cause any future problems. I rated the service good mainly because of the prompt response but feel that what I was told on the phone was not what actually happened”

“Excellent service. Inadvertently filled my motorcycle tank with Diesel. The gentleman from FuelFixer came, pumped out the diesel, filled the tank with gas and even disassembled parts of the bike to get to the air filter to finally get the bike to start again. Excellent service !”

However, they promptly returned the next day and successfully addressed the matter. “I am so pleased with the service that I received. Head office informed me of how their service works, the cost and what the cost covered ( I think his name was Michael). the estimated time of arrival of Jordan the technical assigned to help me and then Michael informed me that Jordan would call me shortly to confirm the booking. After a few minutes Jordan called me, introduced himself and confirmed arrival time, saying that if he got held up due to traffic he would call me back and let me know. Jordan arrived on time, introduced himself and explained how the process worked, possible effects on my car due to the mis fuelling and got straight to work settling up the Syphon Once the tank was empty he poured in £20 of diesel and asked me to start my car. In no time it was running, he offered me an appropriate fuel additive to help protect engine if I wanted it, and gave his professional advice on the merits of using a fuel additive post mis fueling. Jordan was polite, professional, knowledgeable and put me at ease when I discussed my worries about the damage I might have done to my car. Paperwork was filled in efficiently and in no time I was able to drive my car. All I can say is thank you Michael and Jordan who were both professional, polite, knowledgeable and reassuring. I would use this service again and recommend them if you like me put the wrong fuel in your vehicle...... Doh!!... I would give 10 out of 10 for a 5 star Service, Thanks, H”
