“Now you are using palm oil in many of your products I will sadly not be purchasing any more of your chocolate. It’s a cheap ingredient that has no place in chocolates of this high value. This undermines the quality and taste of the chocolates and environmentally is not good. How very disappointing that such a longstanding firm has resorted to using inferior ingredients to make supposedly superior chocolates. It’s such a shame as I used to love your produce. So many are doing this now it’s hard to find decent chocolates anymore.”

“Delicious chocolates, and great outer chocolate shells on them - the 'base' chocolate is so important in producing fine items, and Friars uses that, not some cheap alternative. A lot of chocolates look nice but are disappointing, but Friars chocolates are quality goods that don't disappoint. I've bought many of them now, a satisfied returning customer. Lovely tastes and great selections.”
