Certainly a surprise indeed. £30 of rubbish, nothing good to say and definitely wont be back. The only good thing was the box it came in. A surprise mystery box for foodies! Your having a laugh surely. If there was a box lower the ratings list it would get my tick. If your thinking of buying, don't!!

Goods ordered from Firebox never arrived so my experience could hardly be worse. I won't use them again.

Items where not sent in time for Christmas...Suggested 18th December. Email suggested that only two of the Six items had been sent, but still not yet received (29th December) Overall Poor!

The box arrived and one of the books I bought was crammed in with the corners folded up. When I took it out the book looked like it was years old. Awful service. It was so obviously too big to fit but apparently they're too cheap to use a slightly bigger box.

Ordered three grip strips on the 2nd December , plenty of time for Xmas . Received email two days later stating they are out of stock???? and they would be in on the 11th. I then "emailed them again " in the 15th as they still hadn't arrived to be told pathetically that they had a glitch in their system and would not have stock in until January. Angry doesn't even sum up how I feel right now. !!!

The whole buying process was a zinch but when things got passed to Yodel to deliver was where things started going wrong. 1 attempted delivery and when I attempted to redeliver the package it wouldn't allow me stating the the package was with the courier..this was days after the 1st attempt so they never bothered to update the actual status of my package. Constant emails and tweets fell on deaf ears and then when I'd pretty much given up hope I see my package at my front door..lying out for the world to see..contrary to what firebox says that all packages must be signed..so yeah never ordering from Firebox until they change delivery company.

Products were fine, order process was fine. Delivery was a total nightmare! Never again will I order from this company after the service received from the delivery company. It's a shame as I had already recommended the site to friends then had to go back to them and tell them it's not worth the hassle.

Ordered product on 26 Nov. Two weeks later it didn't arrive so contacted Firebox to be told there is a problem with their warehouse. They then re-ordered, only to contact me later that day to say it was out of stock. Absolute shambles - would strongly advise against using Firebox.

I think the picture of the wine handbag is totally mis- represented, I will not be able to give it as a gift and the worse part is I have wasted 29.99. I will not be buying from you again.

I bought the underwater disco lightshow after seeing it on TV. It was a complete waste of money as it is not waterproof.

I ordered a customised batman figure on 19/6 for my husbands birthday which is 21/8. I received confirmation of my order saying it would take 4 - 6 weeks which is plenty of time. On 29/7 I chased them as it was only 3 weeks until his birthday. I received a reply saying the following: - Our Personalised Superhero Action Figures take from 4 to 6 weeks to be manufactured. You can expect your action figure to be dispatched any day from now to 17th September. If you have not received your action figure by 17th September, please let me know and I can investigate further for you. The 17/9 is almost a month past his birthday which is also 3 months since I ordered the figure. Surely it shouldn't take 3 months when they say 4 to 6 weeks. 3 days before his birthday I received the following email: Unfortunately, our partner was unable to create a Personalised Superhero Action Figure with the images that you provided - Unfortunately, it may take a further 4 - 6 weeks to get the replacement out to you. Why was I only told 2 months after the order that there was a problem with the photos. Great birthday surprise NOT !!! I sent in further photos and after waiting until 19/10, several follow up emails with no reply and still not receiving the action figure I finally gave up and cancelled. Very disappointed with the service and was left with no birthday present. Will definitely never use this company again.

We were very excited about the bath disco light - we received it very quickly - ran out to buy batteries that weren't included all for bath time for our son who has autism and who we knew would absolutely love it. We made sure everything was secured to the max but after 3 minutes in the bath it stopped working much to our son's immense distress. Apparently not 100% waterproof as advertised. Waste of time, batteries and postage costs. Eventually did get a full refund. Don't waste your money.

Perhaps they are better suited selling in the UK only. They ship internationally with a service that has no tracking. I paid for an item at this point over a month ago, had to dispute it and file a claim with PayPal as the response from Firebox was repeatedly for me to go check my "sorting office" (post office) to see if they happened to hold it there. The USPS does not make a habit of holding packages, and with no tracking, I have no way to account that they actually sent anything - as far as I know they sent nothing, I received nothing, and have had to bring in the payment company just to get a refund. Shipping issue notwithstanding, I saw the same exact item as I 'purchased' from them on Amazon for under half the price, with shipping included. Overcharged and undershipped is no way to go through life.

Well, the order shipped on 09/03/15 and I haven't received it yet. So you might want to make sure that happens before you send out review requests.
