I've used Feedwater on three occasions to test for the prescence of Pseudomonas in samples taken from our domestic property. I've always found the company to be professional in its approach. The taking and submitting samples is very straight forward. Testing is conducted promptly and swift contact is made where a sample starts to show positive results. I've also received very helpful advice from one of their experts, Gary. Thank you Gary. I would certainly recommend the company and will continue using Feedwater in the future.

I've been very pleased with the prompt and efficient service received from Feedwater. The collection bottles were sent out swiftly with clear instructions. The results were available with a few days and I was notified immediately an issue was identified, the full certificates arriving a short while later. My telephone enquiry was also dealt with promptly and with excellent advice from Gary. I highly recommended the company for water testing and will certainly use Feedwater again.

This company was contracted by our university to spray the showers to prevent legionnaires, and proceeded to ignore the conduct instructions and nock on our bedrooms doors and walk in with no time inbetween, catching many of us in bed or undressed. This, as you can imagine, was a massively violating and stressful thing to wake up to, and was not an incident isolated to only our flat, and was an issue across the whole building and multiple flats.

I had a poor experience, which I imagine may be unfair in general. My original ordered test was mis-categorised, so I received the wrong testing kit. I spotted the error (which was not obvious) and customer service was good and I received the correct testing kit quite shortly. I then submitted the correct test and it took quite a long time (about a week after successful delivery) to receive the results: Feedwater (rightly) makes a fairly big deal about the swift timeline between sample and delivery for accurate testing to occur: e.g. oxidation can occur if a sample is left too long. In my case, I don't really believe the results of the test, which show relatively low iron (whereas the physical evidence on-site is that we have very high iron deposits). So I am not sure whether the specimen spent a long time "waiting" after it was delivered or whether it just takes a week between performing the test and the results being delivered, for reasons that seem unfathomable. Or maybe it's telling me something genuinely suprising. In short, any chemical testing relies on swift and appropriate handling of the sample, and I simply don't have faith that the test was timely or accurate for several reasons.

Hello Jonathan, apologies again for the initial sample kit mix-up. I have spoken to the lab and the results were provided well within the 10-day lead time we state on the product page. Testing is carried out at a UKAS accredited lab. The stability time for metals is 6 months, it wouldn't be expected that the iron levels would alter in such a small space of time. There were other metals that were out of spec and flagged this on the report. If you have further questions please feel free to contact the lab to discuss. Kind Regards Ben Parkinson

I have been using the legionella test kits for some years now and found it a very cost effective way of testing as part of our legionella management programme. The service that I have recieved has always been excellent. The kits are easy to buy and use. Feedwater keeps you updated by e-mail when the samples have been recieved and then the final test results. William Furniss Dip 2 OSH CMIOSH Health and Safety Consultant.

I've been using the Feedchlor and Dechlor products for several years now, and they usually work exactly as expected. I always buy a batch including one 10 kg drum of each product. But this year's batch (bought around March 2024) gave us some problems. The Feedchlor was OK - we achieved the expected chlorine concentration using the expected amount of Feedchlor. But we had to use much more Dechlor than expected to neutralise the chlorine. We had to use 2-3 times as much Dechlor as Feedchlor. We used all the testing techniques at our disposal to check our findings (Palintest "disc" comparator 0-50 mg/litre with chlorine HR and acidifying tablets, also the chlorine test strips, and finally DPD1 tablets to confirm removal of chlorine) so we're quite confident that our measurements were consistent. Fortunately, we discovered the problem while treating the smaller of our two tanks. We then realised that we would not have enough Dechlor if we completely filled our larger tank, so we took the precaution of only part-filling that larger tank before we added the Feedchlor, and that turned out to be a good move. At the end of our process, the Feedchlor drum is still about 80% full and the Dechlor drum is only about 30% full. Serial numbers from the drums: Feedchlor 2312012, Dechlor 2308033. I'd be grateful for any comments.

Hello Richard, apologies that you have had this issue. Needing to use so much Dechlor S14 is unusual it should be suitable for neutralising chlorine at a dosage rate of 14ml per ppm of Chlorine per m3 of water. If you can raise the issue with the Feedwater team on sales@feedwater.co.uk one of the technical team should be able to come back to you regarding this. Please include your order details to help them identify it. Kind Regards Ben
