Unfortunately didn’t have a good experience twice. Once I ordered the wagyu burger and never arrived, I have ordered wellington and tasted old and very oxidised and Christmas dinner was kind of ruined. Sorry.. I hope you will do better next time.

Not very happy with my order as I ordered a tri-tip steak which was on offer but never arrived when they sent my order and then after said it was out of stock. Had to wait over two weeks for refund after chasing a non-responsive customer service. I would also avoid ordering the tomhawk steak as 80% of the weight was just bone with only 20% meat. So not worth your money and does not look like images advertised. Flagged to Customer service with evidence however no response.

The turkey was good - unfortunately the ham was not acceptable & potato gratin was off so both had to be binned. Still waiting for them to respond to complaint. I ordered & paid months in advance to ensure I got what I wanted but was badly let down!!!

The steaks were excellent but I would not recommend the bratwurst sausages. We tried frying them and grilling them but the recipe was terrible and the skins too thick to enjoy the sausage.

I cannot believe that you have asked me to do this. The meat I ordered for Christmas was not acceptable. I notified you that there was so much thick white fat around the whole joint. It should have been for up to four people which didn't happen.

Hello Anita, thank you for taking the time in leaving us a review. We are sorry that you are not happy about the fat cap on this joint. A heavier fat cap can be a characteristic of this cut, and the thickness can vary from animal to animal, especially with the heritage breeds and rearing techniques we use. As you will be aware each animal is totally free range with little or no human interference, as such they will lay down layers of fat in a totally natural way and each breed is different to the last with regards to the amount of fat they produce. As the fat gives this cut its incredible flavour our butchers do not trim the fat on these joints. Turkey was rancid. Had black marks on the breast,a large cavity was apparent.On Xmas Eve the bird smelt. Had to throw away after spending more than £100. Spoke to Dawn in Customer Care who offered me 25% off my next order!! Customer Services are nearly as bad as the turkeys!! Shame I couldn't give any stars.

Very disappointed. Ruined our Xmas. Sent a substitute that was nearly a kilo smaller than ordered. Don't particularly like chicken as had ordered a duck ballotine. Was only told by email about substitution the evening before order arrived. Had to go shopping Xmas eve to find something suitable. Not good enough. Had made the order in October

Food was ordered in November for delivery on December 29th. The food never arrived. Whilst I understand that DPD failed in their role in delivering but the communication with Farmison was dreadful. I tried calling on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to get hold of someone to find out what was happening. I finally got through & found out at about 11.30 on Christmas Eve that I would not be getting my delivery. I then spent the next two hours driving around Cheshire trying to get 2 large joints to feed all the guests we had invited for Christmas lunch. I wouldn't trust you again with an important, time critical order but I was offered a voucher which has also yet to arrive...... neither has my refund. Dreadful experience!

I did not receive my Christmas Day roast on the 22nd December, a signature forerib for my family of 9 for Christmas dinner. I concede that that may be in part due to DPD which are quite frankly shocking and I don’t know why they are still in business. Since then, from the 22nd December dispite calls, emails and making enquiries on the website I have had no return calls, emails or refund. I have had however, about 20 marketing emails about various meats and offers only serving to rub my nose in the fact I didn’t receive my Christmas dinner. The knock on effect being, albeit dramatic sounding spoilt Christmas Day and the run up. I was so angry, wasted 4 / 5 hours on the phone trying to sort this out (to no avail) as well as an hour outside the local butcher stood in the rain to get the last sizeable joint that could at best feed 4, let alone 9. I’d love to have a return call but sadly this has not happened and I will not get my wasted time or Christmas spirit back. Thank you

I ordered a 7kg FRESH turkey (as advertised) and received a FROZEN one. Their excuse is it's not "frozen" it is "deep chilled". Other producers had the good grace not to deceive their customer by letting you know that the bird was not "fresh". Farmison however have intentionally misrepresented the product in the hope that we won't notice. I know that bird-flu has affected production, but there's no need to be untruthful to customers. I am pursuing a partial refund and will not use them again. I suspect I'll have to resort to the SCC for resolution given the arrogant responses I've had so far.

I did not receive my meat box order for Christmas. I contacted your service department on 28th December 2022 and have still not heard anything from you. I am very disappointed and would ask that you remedy my purchases at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

Here at  Farmison, all our Meat is cut and prepared fresh to order in our Butchery here, it is then picked and packed by hand in our Dispatch Department to be sent out to our customers fresh. This happened the day before a delivery is due to be with our customer. This means we are working with live stock levels, so, if there are any stocking issues on a certain dispatch day, this can often be communicated to us later in the day after all of our Supplier deliveries have been made and in many cases such as with yours last week. We do hate letting our customers down and here at  Farmison, we are constantly working on ways to improve our customer experience, so that we are offering the very best service possible to all our wonderful customers, so we understand that last-minute stocking issues are not ideal. We are very sorry once again to have let you down on this occasion.

Still waiting for a customer service call-back ten days and three emails after receiving two wrong items in my Christmas order. I have previously enjoyed a whole goose from Farmison but this year the goose breasts I ordered tasted very strange and I was forced to throw the meat away. I hope that the company comes back on track. I hope that customer services responds to my emails before too long. I hope also that I receive a refund for the items that I did not receive, especially as the ones sent wrongly were much cheaper than what I'd paid for..

I get that Christmas is a busy time for a business such as Farmison..... but surely the answer to being busy is to have more staff to handle the increased workload. We ended up having to freeze our Christmas meat rather than being able to cook the fresh produce we wanted. This seems to my fault because i should have realised that it would take Farmison Customer Services over 12 hours to open an email (due to their Staff shortages). I won't be redeeming the £10 voucher i was offered against the £230 of meat i ordered.

Ordered a fresh turkey and received a frozen turkey with freezer burn on wings. Tried several times to contact them and nobody ever comes back to you. They take your money upfront claiming to sell the best, which is priced at a premium, then deliver poor-quality goods. If the description stated frozen I would not have ordered the bird. Avoid at all costs!!!

My package came damaged and leaked all over the rest of meat , It took me three phone calls / emails to get a refund . Very poor service !!!!
