“Always have interesting stock, as well as old favourites. Bulbs are good quality and size and none I have bought has failed yet, unless a squirrel has dug up the little blighter. Not the speediest delivery, but they are coming from the Netherlands. If I am looking for a little (or a lot of big) something I always start either Farmer Gracy. Things are well packed and arrive in good condition.”

“I ordered and received 7 Dahlia tubers, when we planted three were in poor condition, Feline Yvonne, Cafe au lait Royal and sweet Nathalie. The roots of the tubers were broken”

Hello, We're sorry to hear that there are concerns regarding the condition of some of your dahlias. Dahlia tubers can be quite fragile and during harvest they can suffer light damage. Bent tubers which appear cracked where they join the neck are common and this won't usually have an impact on the performance of the plant. “I bought Alliums 3 years ago and they have never grown. Also I find the postage very expensive to Northern Ireland as we are one of the four nations of the United Kingdom. The last order the yellow drumstick bare root was not in the bag so disappointed as this has never happened before.”

“Really impressed with the bare root plants and tubers, the first time I’ve purchased plants this way. The packaging was an art form in itself! A few days later and leaves are emerging, and the plants are much bigger than you would normally get, say in 9 cm pots.”

“The Farmer Gracy web-site is easy to navigate and offers great choice and value for money. The ordering process is simple and the company keeps in touch with e-mail up-dates. I ordered bare root plants and summer bulbs. They arrived within less than two weeks, well-packaged and in really good condition.
