“We ordered quite a few plants earlier this year and the quality has been extremely disappointing. Astrantia (3 ordered, 2 never grew at all and refunded for one, the third has never grown more than 2 inches - and keeps dying off). Had 3 chocolate Astilbe Shogun, 1 survived (barely) and 2 died. New Love clematis has never grown fully and I feel this is going the way of the others. I did everything as instructed when received, potted up in the time suggested and in the manner instructed. I would definitely not use again, a waste of money, time and effort.”

“So far, and at the moment these are only bulbs although they are all healthy evert everything seems great for the Sping. The bulbs were protected against the rigorous postal system/delivery system and arrived in excellent condition. I have always found the whole process to be excellent, including the very helpful staff with whom I have communicated. Now…next spring will be the test of the bulbs and my expertise, or not!”

“I am a repeat purchaser with FG. I have easily spent around £1k in the last 12m alone on bulbs and a little less over the last five years. I have found that overall, the bulbs are good. I have had a few failures but those that bloomed have been so beautiful especially the Dalia's. I have just purchased spring bulbs and special Peonies along with some new deluxe options and hope these do as well as expected, next year. My only negative is that they don't give detailed advice in the delivery box on planting depth/soil types/sun position needed for those specific bulbs (only generic leaflets). This means i need to go back on site to find the exact bulb type/species to check whilst in garden which is time consuming. Also there is nothing specific on winter protection/storage and long term care to ensure bulbs survive longer than the purchase season. Also as discussed above, i purchased a lot but never really got special sales offers/discounts to reflect my loyalty. This is where competitors like Morgan&Thompson have had sales from me as sales priorities/points made purchases cheaper.”

We do not currently provided over wintering advice with our orders however we appreciate your feedback. Our Gracy's guides have some useful tips that may be beneficial.
