I don't know what the outcome will be, but the lead times are long compared to your competitors. The worst thing is that 2 of the 7 dahlias were broken. One had only one bulb left and the other none. I don't know if they will grow properly. At the price they're being sold for, that's not right.

Hello, We are sorry to hear that there are concerns regarding the dahlias received. Dahlia tubers can be quite fragile and during harvest they can suffer light damage. Bent tubers which appear cracked where they join the neck are common and this won't usually have an impact on the performance of the plant. If any dahlias appear severely damaged, with multiple broken tubers which are barely attached, please contact us so we review the matter and replace where nevessary. Ordered a musa basjoo. Looked sickly and blackened . Not viable I think. Also ordered three dahlia bulbs . Two were of good size . One was not , about half the size of the others.

Everything I have bought from Farmer Gracy has exceeded my expectations. They have so many of the more unusual plants to choose from. Everything is really healthy with big juicy roots unlike things I have bought from all the other big named companies. This is the company for me and I heartily recommend them. Everything is also beautifully packed. 5 stars!!

From the beautiful choice of bare root plants with helpful information on the websit, to receiving my order of healthy well labelled plants safely, so nicely and thoughtfully packaged, its been an enjoyable experience. Thank you all at Farmer Gracy. When I find more space in my garden I intend to order more.

I ordered bare root perennials. I was a little concerned about the length of time they were in transit. (Despatched 14.3. 25 and received 21.3.25). They all looked very dried out. Despite an enormous amount of TLC, 2 of the 7 different varieties have definitely not survived. 2 of the remainder are looking “touch and go”. I am glad to see the rest are now showing signs of growth.

The transit time should not affect the condition of the plants however, we do recommend that all orders are checked on arrival and that bare roots are potted as soon as possible. My daughter bought me this for a present, I carefully planted it in a pot and kept it in the cool greenhouse until mid April, it now looks dead and I’m so disappointed as I’ve taken such care of it .

I cannot fault the quality of merchandise from Farmer Gracy. However, this time I only have had a 75% successive growth rate with my last order. The Salvia’s started okay and have now died. 2 Dark Night’s and one Hot Lips. But the remaining are doing well. Thank you Farmer Gracy for your bare roots. Bob

I have used many very good mail order companies in the past but Farmer Gracy certainly have the edge. The plants were excellent as was the packing and helpful instructions. I shall certainly be ordering from them again.

Some items are excellent some not so good. Bought 9 dahlia tubers and 6 are growing well in indoor tubs atm. 1 is OK and 2 just haven't started and the tuber is now squashy... Sincerity and Catching Fire.

Hello, We're sorry to hear that there are concerns regarding the growth of some of the dahlias. They generally take around 4-6 weeks to begin sprouting. When they start to sprout depends on many factors, like the stage in the season, temperatures and the variety. The larger dinner plate varieties may take longer to sprout, up to 8 weeks from planting.
