Items delayed which wasn’t Farmer Gracy’s fault, however having sent a message 3 days ago expressing concern about bare root plants not being planted out in time after despatch, I have still not heard back from Farmer Gracy. The plants have since arrived and I very quickly soaked them and planted them as per the instructions, so hopefully no lasting damage done. Packaging was good, instructions also good. I know it’s a busy time for these guys so let’s just hope the bare roots grow into nice healthy plants!

Plannts arrived and packed nicely and the plants themselves look good too the only problem I have with tubers is do I plant them all together or can I cut them off the stalk and plant individually it doesn’t tell you this if you are a new gardener- This I think would be most helpful thank you see you soon

Hello, Thank you for your review. Dahlia tubers are to be planted as they arrive and do not need any adjustments made to the tuber itself. "The plants or rhizomes were in good condition and had started growing well. Only two have not started and show no signs of life: Papaver 'Watermelon' and Monarda 'Schneewittchen' appear to be dead."

The bulbs are brilliant I have bought many different bulbs. I got 1 root that was damaged and when I let them no they are sending a replacement one. Think this is a really good company for gardeners

I placed four orders for bare root plants and they all arrived within a week of each other. The packing and instructions were very good. I planted them all up about 3 weeks ago. Some of the plants, like the lupins and hollyhocks, have started growing very quickly and look like strong plants. Some plants have still to show signs of growth.

The spring bulbs which I received have all been beautiful, especially some lovely pastel yellow and pink tulips which I have in a planter at the front of my house. All the bulbs arrived well packed with really useful information.

My last purchase was for a variety of bare root plants, including delphiniums (which have always been a”I’m not going to grow for you!!” plant, and lupins, the delphiniums are a definite no show, but the lupins—-another of the above plants— have all grown beautiful—- ( except that snails have eaten two——definitely not FG’s fault)—- on the whole, Farmer Gracy provide high quality plants at reasonable prices—- and are always available to provide help and advice

Your bulbs etc aren’t always in good shape. They come mouldy or nothing grows from them. The sizes are different. If they are like 15 bulbs of one colour, sometimes once it grows they are different colours. I have been buying plants from you over the last 6 years and over all not impressed with the quality. One needs to wait to see what grows if anything out of it and by then it’s too late to complain, get in touch. It’s putting me off from buying bulbs

This was my first Farmer Gracy order, my Dahlia tubers arrived in good time. The tubers all look to be in fantastic condition with no signs of mould. I’m really impressed with the packaging, I have used a popular uk seller before but this is much better. Also love that it has the height range of the plants printed on the pack which makes planting easier when you’re starting a new border. I will definitely be placing more orders, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends. Thank you for your excellent service.
