“Well packaged as usual but didn't find our goose quite as plump or as succulent as in other years and there was only the neck in the giblets. However it was still enjoyed by all and having read other reviews it was probably just a one off as all other years have been perfect so will be ordering from you again. Thank you”

“The goose thawed beautifully in the fridge. It cooked in half as much time as expected - but a series of occurrences meant that it was being cooked to eat cold - so that was alright. I do not understand how or why - but not to worry. If I have to find fault: it might be easier for the cook if the giblets were packed separately from the bird. I see that this is more difficult for you, but it would mean that gravy/pate/soup would be independent of the bird. Expect my order next year. Good experience. I don't know how long the goose was in transit. It arrived on the day I expected.js”

“Booking and delivery were trouble free and the goose was a very high quality and extremely well packaged with plenty of frozen blocks packed around it. Thank you it was excellent.”

“The goose tasted amazing, nothing else tastes the same, really enjoyed it. Wasn’t as fatty as it had been the previous years for my liking as I do love the crispy fatty skin. Will definitely buy a goose again next year, so worth it for a special occasion.”

“Goose was extremely well wrapped and even though it was 24 hours late it was still frozen. The weight aspect is a bit odd. To pay the same for something which could be anywhere between 4.5 and 5.5 kg doesn't feel quite right. If it's 5.4 them great but if it's 4.6 one feels a bit hard done by. It's sort of off-putting.”

“Excellent, clean goose. Plenty of fat. (Was looking forward to the heart and liver as prized part of our annual meal of goose but only the neck was included as giblets.) The meat was excellent.”

“My meat was well packaged considering the heat wave I received if quite fresh and I’m enjoying it now. Totally different from the one I bought from the market. Going to send for more soon. Thank you for good and healthy produce.”

“The meat was very tasty, juicy and good quality of shipping as well. The mince beef was older than the expire date, but it was stil very good since it was frozen, I had a good experience and I will order again”

Hi Francesco, thank you for taking the time to review your F2F experience. Regarding your comment on the best before date, if you check the pack again, you will probably find the best before date was for May/June 2023, not May/June 2022! We put a 1 year best before date on our vacuum-packed products. I am really pleased to hear you were happy with your experience. All the best, Ollie.

“I think this is a fantastic idea, it supports small businesses and you know where your meat is from. However, it is expensive but I expected that. I wonder if something can be done about the box and contents that keep the meat safe? I can send the wool to a friend who spins and weaves, but that cardboard was proper stuff, really thick and durable,(But I don't have a garden to bury it in or to protect plants etc) I was thinking maybe there could be local pick up point for the boxes to go back to you for future use (maybe that wont work) I dont know but the contents seem too good to trash :-) Its apositive from me thank you”

“The chicken I ordered was really tasty like chicken tasted before. The diced mutton was disappointing but maybe because I didn’t cook it for long enough so it was tough. Service and delivery excellent”
