The attached photos show how the packagae arrived - in a damp broken cardboard box that was pretty much open. The diced lamb - most of the chunks were made up of half fat so almost half the weight of the packet went into the bin. The whole chickens however excellent quality - did not get the usual giant fatberg that you tend to get in the opening of chickens from the supermarket (I tend to get the whole organic chickens from M&S and they alway come with an approx 100g fat blob) presumably because the chickens whilst organic are simply fed a grain only diet. So pleased that was not the case with the ones from Farm2Fork. So in all mixed review! I would consider ordering the whole chickens again but not anything that is cut up already and packaged as not good value for money when half goes in the bin.

I was very disappointed with the sizing of the lamb racks. I ordered four fir a special occasion and all were different .. ranging from 8 to 4 ribs. Different quality. The only x8 rib was far superior in taste and quality. Too much fat left on joints. Not the special meal I had hoped for. Delivery and packing excellent. !

The Logistics worked well but I thought the quality of the bird was much reduced from last year with the breast meat almost non existent . Regards John Park

I ordered different meats from Farm2Fork. The taste so far is good, but I was very disappointed from the Lamb Chump (Rump) Steaks - 300g (10.5oz). I ordered 2 pack - Supposed to be 4 steaks . Unfortunately one of them was skin with fat with bearly any meat on it. The weight supposed to be 0.302kg and 0.304 kg, together 0.606kg . Unfortunately was 0.556kg together. I am not sure if I will be ordering again .For the premium price I paid I expect quality and fairness.

Probably should have read the website more carefully and didn't realise it was Farm2Fork via The Freezer. In consequence there was a huge amount of expensive packaging. A great idea for townies with little or no alternative but I'll go back to a local-ish farm.

Delivery was late, arrived a day after - sadly we found the turkey very dry, had much nicer ones for a fraction of the price, disappointed

I have eaten the chicken I bought as it's for 25th. It looks really good. However when I placed my order online I asked for a phone call in the comments box . The reason for this was to find out delivery date as I'm only at the address for half the week. I wasnt contacted .

Hi Jane, thank you for your feedback. I'm so sorry your delivery message was missed and your order was shipped to you without us first contacting you. Please accept my apologies for this mistake. I hope you enjoyed the chicken. Ollie, Farm2Fork.

Hi Martin, I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with the turkey and the service received. The short best before date was a simple printing error, as I explained in my email to you earlier this week, it should have read April 2024 not 2023! Deliveries can take up to two days to arrive and this is also explained on our delivery information page. I understand it can be frustrating when parcels take an extra day to be delivered, but the delay won't have had any negative effect on the quality of the product received, our packaging will keep the meat protected for the duration of the delivery. Regarding the premium price paid, this reflects the fantastic life the turkeys have enjoyed, having been raised in a small batch, on pasture, for a period of 6 months while being lovingly cared for by our team and fed on a completely natural, and organic diet before being hand-plucked, oven-prepared and delivered to you. I am sorry we couldn't meet your expectations on this occasion. Kind regards, Ollie

My rolled joint of beef was half fat! The minute steak was tough. I think I’ll stay with my local butcher with local farm cattle.

Good product but a lot of plastic packaging and shipment by DHL. Doesn’t make sense that in order to eat sustainable product I waste all this plastic and get a company with a huge fleet like DHL to ship the product for me adding more emissions to the atmosphere. That’s not sustainable. When I ordered! I thought that farm2fork will ship the product in your own mini van, frozen yes, but packaged minimally as it will be same day delivery. It’s not farm2Fork, it’s farm to butchery, to giant freezers, to packaging facility, to DHL depot, to DHL truck, to 100s of miles on the highway then to fork

Hi Steve, Thank you for your feedback. I'm so sorry your delivery was delayed. The courier networks were overwhelmed with parcels in the run-up to Christmas with an unforeseen increase in volume in part due to the recent Royal Mail strikes, this caused some delivery depots to become backlogged with parcels resulting in delivery delays. I'm really sorry your order was affected by this. Kind regards, Ollie
