I ordered 5kg of "Beef Marrow Bones" specifically for the marrow, paying £40 with the expectation of receiving marrow-rich bones. Unfortunately, the bones were not cut to expose the marrow, and I ended up with barely a spoonful – making this by far the most expensive marrow I've ever purchased. The item title is quite misleading. While the product description suggests it’s suitable for broth, the title implies a marrow-rich product, which it is not. Even after reading the details, I expected significantly more accessible marrow than what I received. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially since quality marrow is hard to come by. Sadly, this won’t be the source I turn to in the future.

Hi Ashley, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Would you be able to provide us with some more information so that we can better understand your experience? Our records show that this order was for Minute Steaks and they don't contain any pepper! Please email me at sales@farm2fork.co.uk. Thanks, Ollie

Usually really good meat but they let us down this time. The goose went off before Christmas. This ruined our Christmas dinner… A relative said some times goose can smell a bit strong so we cooked it anyway… but it was definitely off!

Purchased rump steak at 20% discount for first time costumer. Very hard, tough, chewy and plenty of nerves. I’m scared as purchased diced beef as well and haven’t tried it yet. Asked for explanation and I had a very poor explanation even very rude explanation I could say.

Hi Juan, I am really sorry to hear you thought my explanation to you was poor, even rude, I was genuinely trying to be helpful and factful in reply to your product concerns. As I explained in my emails, rump steaks are cut from the hindquarters of the animal, these are a reasonably hard-working group of muscles, and with that, some rump steaks will have a bit more of a bite than others, this can't be helped, it is the nature of the muscles where the rump steaks are cut from. For a guaranteed tender eating experience the best steaks you can buy come from the loin muscles along the back of the animal, these are a light-working group of muscles that include the ribeye, sirloin and fillet steak cuts. Rump steaks are a considerably cheaper cut than the loin steaks and in making that saving, there will sometimes be a compromise on the tenderness of the cut. I am confident if you follow the preparation and cooking advice given in my emails you will have a good eating experience with the remainder of your rump steaks. Best regards, Ollie

Very disappointed as I thought I was getting a fresh Medium Turkey for myself and my parents, only to find when we got home it was frozen. The goose was great but my father ended up paying £77 for each of the frozen Turkeys in which we could have got the same size in Tesco for £18. We both will never be ordering from Farm 2 Fork again!!!!!! Rip off

Hi Simon, I am sorry that you didn't realise you were buying a frozen turkey from us, they are described as such on our website, so this shouldn't have been a surprise to you. While I agree you may be able to get the same size turkey from Tescos for £18, I do not accept your comparison. When buying a turkey from Farm2Fork you are buying a bird which has been lovingly raised for 6 months on our organic farm, enjoying the very best outdoor life, before being hand-plucked and prepared with care for your festive table. Can Tescos make the same claim?

I've recently purchased chicken necks, carcasses and chicken feet to cook bone broth. Chicken feet arrived not as picture shown. I did read the description that they are sold undressed with the yellow membrane and talons. I did blanch them but ones it was for too long so they did not come out good and the next ones I did again but blanched too quickly . I don't recommend this to buy unless you really know what you are doing . Also the chicken feet were mixed with feathers and looked really unpleasant. Chicken carcasses could have been packed better to making easier to put in freezer. The quality of the carcasses was really poor , skin looking grey to yellow, hunging a lot. I will not purchase again .

Dear Anna, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. I am sorry to hear of your disappointment with our chicken feet and for any confusion caused by the image on the product page; this image is of prepared (blanched and peeled) chicken feet, while what we are selling is raw chicken feet. We have tried to be clear in the product description that this is the case however, we will look at this again to see if we can make this more obvious. I agree the preparation of raw chicken feet can be a little unsavoury and will take some practice, we have found a great blog online giving step by step instructions on preparing raw chicken feet, which a number of our customers have found helpful, I include this below. http://theelliotthomestead.com/2015/01/chicken-feet/ I am sorry once again that our products didn't meet your expectations and I do hope one-day you will give us the opportunity to your restore your faith in our products and services. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience, Ollie

Not happy with my delivery and will not be ordering from here again. Got an email saying my package was left in a "safe place" however it was left by my front door. Anyone could've taken it and all my details was on top of the package so anyone could've taken it too. Disappointed.

Hi Soraia, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I am very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the delivery service provided. Our delivery partners are instructed to leave the parcel 'safe' if no one is home when the delivery is made. As we didn't have any further delivery or 'safe place' instructions, the driver made a judgment call to leave the package by your front door. I am sorry that the driver didn't find a more secure location and I'll be sure to feed this back to our delivery partner. It's a shame that your first experience with us was disappointing, but we do appreciate your feedback. If there is anything else we can do to help please contact us on 01460 53988 or email ollie@farm2fork.co.uk Thank you, Ollie
