“I was incredibly saddened to break the crown of my Carter watch in a fall from around head hieght, with some weight behind it - entirely my own fault Farer fixed it as new in 5 days for the cost of the postage more or less. That made me very happy. Beyond that, the watch is lovely to wear and garners strong compliments from people that appreciate design as well as those who appreciate watches.”

“I don't normally bother with reviews, but now I'm doing one I need to be careful not to write a love letter to a watch company ...because I absolutely love my Farer Hopewell automatic. I took a long time mulling over buying a 'luxury' watch. I didn't want to spend a sum of money that suggested I earn more than I do, or that would make me feel like I was wearing a price tag, brand name or something the size and weight of an anvil, permanently conscious that I was wearing it and, unable to hold a conversation because I was waiting for people to notice it. So instead I bought my Farer, and every day I get quiet enjoyment from putting it on and thinking (hoping) it reflects my taste and style, which in short, is something a little more thoughtful. It's a great watch.”

“They have designed a great watch. The only reason it is a 4 star review is that after purchase I noticed an imperfection on the crystal. Other than that the watch is a beaut.”

“Runs behind 2 minutes a week. Wrote to CEO about it - no reply :( Leather belt not good quality - should change after 2 months of use :( Would be forgiving if my complaint were answered - instead I am disappointed as customer is obviously not important.”
