“I have wanted a Farer for years. I used to work for a company called Endeavour and always was going to get the original Endeavour watch in grey. However it was very similar to my other dive watches. When the new White dial Endeavour Titanium was announced and with a little help from Red wine (I’m a very tight git). I plucked up the nerve and ordered it. What an absolute stunner ! It’s a watch you constantly check out on your wrist. Its build is stunning with detail that’s incredible. One last word. I have very girly 6 and a half (on a warm day). 6 and a quarter when it’s Baltic wrist. Was worried about the size. Need not have been it’s wears very well and is house slipper comfortable. Welcome to club Farer. A place I should have joined years ago!!!!”

“Very nice watch. Pls keep in mind it does not last really 40 hours. 24 probably. I do not like nato strap. The others are just too short for my wrist. I bought a new one. It could be useful to let future buyers choose the length that suits them best. Regarding water resistance: the deeper that watch is going would be .... mmhh... le's say 2 meters. Therefore it stays well within its safety margin. Thanks!”

“A chunk of retro class - I love the shape, the style and above all that green fumé dial with the concentric ridges. The SW300 movement is silky smooth to wind, has a decent power reserve and keeps good time. The back view with the decorative movement is also well worth a look.”

“I ordered the Discovery Black Velvet and the delivery was prompt and without any issues. However, despite the watch being advertised as having a black dial, as even included in its name, the dial is more charcoal than black which is very noticeable when put next to watches with an actual black dial. I also found the noise of the rotor rather loud. Overall, a bit disappointing.”

Hello Christiane, Thank you for your feedback on the Discovery Black Velvet. The dial colour is most certainly black, but it is a matt black fine texture, that does not reflect light, so in the direct sun it will potentially look dark charcoal. “As always with Farer (This is my third purchase from them) this is an outstanding watch. The build quality has the watch feeling extremely solid. It's Titanium but the watch still feels heavy enough to not feel too light (or cheap), it has a good weight to it. It wears a little larger than I expected (Which is a good result for me as I have large wrists). The colour is extremely clean and the red strap matches the face brilliantly. I'm incredibly happy with it.”

“As a business I cannot fault Farer. They were very open and professional throughout, even though I returned my unit (Black Velvet). I was disappointed in the watch as the pics and video are shot in such a way that you think the indices are just white when in reality they are always blue and have a metal surround which just destroyed my expectations. It would have been lovely to try on but alas I could not as I knew instantly it was not for me. Thank you Farer for a fuss-free return.”

“after over a month of ownership and regualr wear I am still delighted with my 36mm Lander. I love the design and it is a perfect GADA watch that gives you a lot for the price. Buying the watch from Farer was comfortably my favourite watch buying experience ever. Talking watches with one of the founders while comparing their watches to some of my existing collection was a lot of fun and there was no "hard sell" which I really appreciated. I woudl really recomend visiting them and seeing their watches in person as it is a great experience. I ended up buying the pink dial version as a gift for my wife at the same time (I hadn't planned to, until I saw the watch) and she loves it too. I can see myself adding another Farer watch to my collection at some stage in the future. Highly recomended all round!”

“Ordered a Freshwater Aquamatic and I couldn't be happier. The watch arrived the next day after ordering and the quality is fantastic. The rubber strap is very comfortable and the watch keeps very good time. This is my first Farer but I don't think it will be my last.”

“I recently purchased a Resolute 36mm, the model had been out of stock for some time, so I jumped when it came back. The brilliant white dial with amazing lume numbers which look like a halo, is a great every day watch. Being a white dial, you can pair almost any strap with the watch .”

“I had the fortunate opportunity to go to the Farer showroom near Ascot to choose my next Farer watch late last year. Having already purchased several Farer watches online, I wanted to see the chronograph range in person before taking my next step and I'm really happy I did! Going in I was convinced I was going to leave with either the Bernina Titanium Sport or the Portobello Chrono-Contempo but I could not take my eyes off of the Chalot. The navy blue bezel grounds the onlooker and has this sensible, professional feel to it while the mint green dial and orange second hand draw you in further and introduce you to the extrovert within! At the time of this review, I have been wearing the Chalot for about a month now and it has made me second-guess all my original Chrono preferences. The 12hr bezel is much cleaner and less pretentious than a Tachymeter (and more useful), the 38.5mm diameter sits nicely on a larger wrist thanks to the lug design and the lob-sided white dial rather than a symmetrical mint-green dial is a big eye-catcher which sets the watch apart from its sister (the Portobello). I have a love-hate relationship with rubber straps, but the lug and strap design on this watch are heavenly to wear. The only thing I would change in the wearability is the loops on the strap; they can dig into the wrist a bit when resting the wrist on a desk. If you aren't a desk-jockey or see this as a weekend watch, you have nothing to worry about. This is the most fun I've had with a watch in a long time!”

“Farer released the Meredith GMT in December, I just could not resist ...the Lume is amazing, a beautiful salmon pink dial. I chose the Navy St Venere strap, a little stiff but I am told by other Farer wearers this softens...anyway another great experience, keep it up Farer.”

“The Durham Pullman watch and first strap I ordered arrived in great condition and look really nice. The watch itself runs quite quickly, gaining about 2 mins a day, with a power reserve of about 35 hours as opposed to the advertised 45 hours. I will continue to monitor the issue to see if it continues after several days of continued use. The second watch strap I bought - the Tan St Venere has a defect. The pin on the non-buckle side of the strap is too short and does not meet the 20mm lug to lug width and therefore does not fit to the watch and cannot be secured in place. It is unusable. I would consider buying from Farer again in the future if the problems with my first order can be solved”

Hello, Thank you for leaving a review. If your Durham Pullman is running 2 mins fast, it has almost certainly been magnetised, a simple demagnetisation will correct the advanced time keeping. When winding the Durham Pullman, the resistance will start to build in the crown and spring back, but until the crown can not be advanced forward you can continue to wind.
