“Love the watch, perfect size and looks great. There was a problem with the mechanism (*which was spotted before delivery*) and had to go back to the supplier, the delivery was delayed for a month, so I've not really had it on my wrist much. As compensation Farer let me pick a second strap f.o.c A big plus spotting the fault before delivery and excellent customer service rectifying the problem... I was kept informed every step of the way, many thanks Farer..”

“The Portobello is a beautiful and fun watch - have had so many admiring comments from fellow watch enthusiasts. The second numbers around the dial are probably unnecessary (they're slightly obscured), but other than that tiny, tiny point, I really can't fault the watch at all. Won't be my last Farer - already looking at another one! Can't fault the delivery either, arrived the day after ordering.”

“I'm delighted with my new Mansfield, it's everything I expected and more. I can't comment on particulars as yet (timekeeping, wearability etc) as it's a birthday present for May. The ordering/delivery process was efficient, and Helena went the extra mile to ensure that I received the watch head and strap that I wanted.”

“How best to sum up Farer in just a few words? For me: Damn awesome! The end-to-end experience of dealing with & purchasing from Farer was super smooth. The customer service I dealt with was super friendly, informative & helpful with my question. I received the 'Portobello' model the next working day & couldn't be happier! The build quality & feel punch way above the price. On the wrist, its the smallest watch I've worn @ 38.5mm but it wears well on my 7.5" wrist, thanks to the super-comfortable strap. Accuracy from wearing for the past 5 days is about +/- 2s per day, which I think is flipping impressive! Very happy... now to choose the next one... ;)”

“What a lovely watch this is. The size is perfect for my wrist and the fact that you can put your chosen timezone at the bottom for easy reading is very handy. The lume on this model is very nice and the movement is running very accurately. All in all this watch is fantastic value.”

“High quality, beautifully designed watches making excellent use of unusual colours and combinations. Looking at their catalogue there are several I'd like to own. Much more variation and individualism in their designs compared with 'the big boys'. Customer service, communication, and speed of delivery excellent. Will definitely be buying another.”

“I eagerly awaited the arrival and opened the packaging. Only to be disappointed with the case, which frankly looks cheap. Even the instructions are on a piece of cheap card. This subconsciously reflected on my view of the watch a great disappointment. The watch itself is nice and light, but the strap is a bit short. I had to use the last hole. For a premium watch the presentation needs to be a lot better. Had I not had it engraved I would have returned it”

Hello Mark, Thank you for your feedback. The zip case is to enable a favourable weight to be shipped across the world, previously we utilised a more traditional wooden presentation box and this often became damaged, or more importantly did not offer sufficient protection for the watch in transit. “A unique experience! Buying a Farer watch from the guy that owns the company is something very different and having access to the full range is also something that doesn't happen every day. The purchase process was made difficult because so many watches looked and felt terrific. I opted for the Endeavour Titanium Series II dive watch in black which looks great on my wrist, relatively light with a rubber strap which I wasn't sure about but which enhances the feel of the watch. Very good to see a Britsh watch manufacturer designing such outstanding watches at competitive prices when you compare them with other British brands. I might need to go back to buy one of the other contenders!”
