Third strap I've had to buy as the leather ones don't last too long / disintegrate. Bought a rubber one this time - it looks good and feels sturdy. Annoyingly the clasp wasn't fitted properly so the first thing I had to do was reattach that, which is tricky.

Farer Bernina titanium- I almost purchased the stainless steel last year but bottled it at checkout. The colours are beautifully done and the watch not overly large, just super. When the titanium was issued I was straight on it, this would have been five stars but for two things: I didn’t get the number on the watch I input when ordering - I requested number 1, if not available I would have chosen 38- so slight disappointment there. I realise many people would want number 01 but thought if it’s not available it would shown as such. The strap seems a bit stiff, perhaps it’s too soon but other watch’s have had more compliant straps out of the box

I decided to get the new Aquamatic Biarritz, which seems to be quite interesting. The combination of the colours used on the Biarritz (& the other Aquamatics) is one of the reasons I decided to get one. I have a soft spot for divers watches. The Biarritz doesn't disappoint. The watch quality is pretty good, overall. Not perfect, but good. The size (& short L2L measurement) is perfect for my 6.5" wrist. It comes with three strap options, but I ended up pairing the watch with a black Hirsch Pure (rubber) strap. I think a black rubber strap would pair nicely with the Biarritz. I would've preferred if the metal bracelet had a standard clasp (not a butterfly clasp). The watch WR rating is 200 m, but it doesn't seem to have a screwdown caseback. Instead, the caseback is secured via four screws. I am glad the watch doesn't have a transparent caseback. I always prefer watches with solid caseback, but the very fine wave pattern on the Biarritz's caseback seems to be a dirt magnet. Not sure if I would call this a true dive watch: It has a good WR rating, but I can't see it as a serious divers watch like Seiko, Doxa, etc. Nonetheless, it is a good-looking (divers style) watch. The dial, hands, markers, and case are very well-proportioned. Legibility is excellent under most conditions. The Biarritz is my first Farer. I might get another Farer, but the majority of the Farer watches seem to come with transparent caseback. Not many of Farer watches come with solid caseback. Accuracy is good. Mine runs a bit late, perhaps 3-4 seconds behind per day. Overall, the Biarritz is a good value, and would be happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a colourful watch.

I recently purchased the Farer Discovery Red 36mm three hand Swiss automatic watch. The watch is a nice size, not too big, and has a two-tone red dial with a slightly darker red zone near the edge and a lighter red central circle. Very attractive watch. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the red leather strap that came with it - it was too thick for me and was not very flexible, so I swapped it for a red canvas strap. The watch itself though is great, and good value.

Actually have'nt had a chance to get my hands on the watch as the delivery was to my friend in the UK. But just by the prompt delivery and the thought behind the watch and the execution in terms of design (looking at the pictures) I am absolutely in awe! I am not someone who hits the buy button often but in this case it was a rather quick. Please take time to pat your backs :)

Excellent, rapid and friendly service. Would be a very nice watch, but the lack of a bezel means it needs to be a 38mm watch not a 40 mm watch. The fascinating lume is the watch's party trick but it doesn't last all that long. Shame that the caseback isn't engraved. Otherwise a good first attempt at selling and distinguishing itself within a crowded market.

I have admired Farer for some time now, the company ethics, the designs, the backstories to each product series, and the attention to detail and manufacture. After very long deliberation I chose to buy a Crooms II and I am delighted with it! The purchase was easy, delivery quick and the packaging and presentation excellent. The dial, case and crystal all work in perfect harmony together, and the dial colour(s) and sunray effect are just beautiful. The hands are sharp and clear, the lume is bright, the crown is a delight to operate and the whole thing is a beautiful and tactile experience. In short, it feels special and looks special. Why did I give four stars and not five? Two minor niggles. Firstly I find the date window just a bit too small, I have to make a very conscious effort to look at it rather than just being able to read it with a quick glance. Secondly, and slightly more annoying to my OCD style brain, the GMT hand is a tiny fraction misaligned, and I do mean a tiny bit. However the result is than when the minute and hour hands exactly line up at 4pm, for example, the GMT hand is just a fraction off-centre at the 16.00 indices. Only the tiniest fraction but enough so that I noticed it. That said, it's a gorgeous watch and I will definitely be purchasing another Farer model in the future.

I bought a Farer Cayley Azur and I have to say, the watch itself is great. But just with another leather strap. I‘ve around 12 watches and this strap is nearly the cheapest feeling and looking strap on a stock watch with such a price tag. On the website it‘s called leather but it‘s just cheap genuine leather that feels like plastic. For me, it‘s a keeper, but not with one of the original watch bands. Best regards

Hi Thilo, Thank you for your review. With regards to the strap you selected, Lion Granolo. This is made in the famous SIS factory in southern France. The SIS leather business is the primary supplier to Louis Vuitton and we are using identical leather skins as they are. So whilst you may not appreciate the strap in its style, the quality is not in doubt. Regards Farer Watch Co

Love my Erebus, even better in the metal than the pictures. Lightning fast delivery, good comms. Farer is right up there with the best of British watch brands.

I choose the swan with a blue strap and the combo works well. The watch is stunning to look at both front and back. The pushers have a very positive feel compared to my other 3 mechanical Chronos. The only issues I have with the watch are, the white frame around the date window seems too bold. Subdials cut too deeply into the hour numerals, I'm still debating with myself on that one. The outer track below the blue numerals are burgundy dots, this level of attention to detail should be more noticeable, especially when I like it. I only can see them with a 10X magnifier. Feel a little bit mean not to give the swan 5 stars.

My Farer Lander Midnight is a wonderful watch. Most of us are probably purchasing Farer watches for their eye-catching and appealing designs. The Lander Midnight is a bit more subdued, which I love. I am happy with the upgraded Sellita movement (SW330-2 Top Grade). The only reason for the 4 stars is that the USD price of $1,450 still seems a little bit steep for the watch as a whole. $1,100 or $1,200 could be more pallatable. That comment aside, I am extremely happy with my Farer Lander Midnight, and hope to wear it for a long time.

It would have been 5 stars but for the reality of the blue dial not being accurately depicted on the website. Not a major issue but a little bit disappointing. Otherwise it looks like a good product and timed my first flight with it very clearly.

Beautiful, well finished, reasonable price, and altogether balanced watch. Two points could be better, case could be 1-2 mm bigger and the steel bracelete could have better adjustment. Overall, loved!

Very efficient service from Farer. Purchased the Aqua Compressor Hecla II. Was surprised how good the watch looked in real life. The watch is very wearable and versatile. Will take me from the boardroom to the beach.

It is a good looking watch, and quite distinctive. As you would expect it keeps good time. My only criticism is that it is quite thick for my wrist.

Farer Elvington II Fly-back Chronograph. A very rare thing.. The watch comes in a box with a very tasteful hand-inscribed thanks you for your purchase. Nice touch. Farer is one of the top brands of micro / boutique next to Christopher Ward, Monta, etc. The first thing that strikes the eye is obviously the dial. On which everything fits beautifully, from sub-dials, painted indexes, date window, hands and markings on the edge of dial. Sapphire glass spans everything perfectly. The crown is partially made of bronze - the hallmarks of Farer. Case - it's superbly made, in most facets have horizontal and vertical, with polished accents. Pushers have a great movement, you can have the impression that it is a mechanical flyback which already costs a lot more. Impressions - watch has great dimensions. 40mm / 45mmL2L / 11mm thickness / 20mm between the lugs. This makes watch sits very comfortably on wrist. Unusual color accents are unique and gives the watch fresh vibe. There is nothing similar on the market with Swiss-made trade mark. Alternatives and price. Price watch a stiff 530 pounds. It's still the cheapest proposal of this mechanism. Next up is the flyback Certina DS2 which costs upwards of £ 700, however, is much larger (43mm) and for me not unique as the Farer. Besides Certina this mechanism can be found in the Breitling Evo Chronospace Night, here is a price of £ 2500. Mechanical equivalent cost you minimum 4500 pounds upwards for the Swiss "Heritage". On the downsides is the lack of anti-reflection coatings on glass. A bit of shame..for this price. Anyway I still recommend!

I have now bought two Farer watches and they are both beautifully made and handsome watches. Delivery was quick and well packaged. The only, very small, negative was a lack of delivery notifications so I was not at home when delivery was attempted.
