Beautiful, well finished, reasonable price, and altogether balanced watch. Two points could be better, case could be 1-2 mm bigger and the steel bracelete could have better adjustment. Overall, loved!

Very efficient service from Farer. Purchased the Aqua Compressor Hecla II. Was surprised how good the watch looked in real life. The watch is very wearable and versatile. Will take me from the boardroom to the beach.

Love it! Only slight negative is the strap feels a little insubstantial.

It is a good looking watch, and quite distinctive. As you would expect it keeps good time. My only criticism is that it is quite thick for my wrist.

Farer Elvington II Fly-back Chronograph. A very rare thing.. The watch comes in a box with a very tasteful hand-inscribed thanks you for your purchase. Nice touch. Farer is one of the top brands of micro / boutique next to Christopher Ward, Monta, etc. The first thing that strikes the eye is obviously the dial. On which everything fits beautifully, from sub-dials, painted indexes, date window, hands and markings on the edge of dial. Sapphire glass spans everything perfectly. The crown is partially made of bronze - the hallmarks of Farer. Case - it's superbly made, in most facets have horizontal and vertical, with polished accents. Pushers have a great movement, you can have the impression that it is a mechanical flyback which already costs a lot more. Impressions - watch has great dimensions. 40mm / 45mmL2L / 11mm thickness / 20mm between the lugs. This makes watch sits very comfortably on wrist. Unusual color accents are unique and gives the watch fresh vibe. There is nothing similar on the market with Swiss-made trade mark. Alternatives and price. Price watch a stiff 530 pounds. It's still the cheapest proposal of this mechanism. Next up is the flyback Certina DS2 which costs upwards of £ 700, however, is much larger (43mm) and for me not unique as the Farer. Besides Certina this mechanism can be found in the Breitling Evo Chronospace Night, here is a price of £ 2500. Mechanical equivalent cost you minimum 4500 pounds upwards for the Swiss "Heritage". On the downsides is the lack of anti-reflection coatings on glass. A bit of shame..for this price. Anyway I still recommend!

I have now bought two Farer watches and they are both beautifully made and handsome watches. Delivery was quick and well packaged. The only, very small, negative was a lack of delivery notifications so I was not at home when delivery was attempted.

Watch design itself is good. But lack of final touch detailing, such as my watch with white dust/dirty inside the water at inner side of the glass. The rotor is quite loud. I ordered a serial number but came with no specific number that I ordered. I ordered with name but came with no engraving. Didn’t border to send back. First order delivery was fast and good. Second order of only strap is bad, as website say free delivery worldwide, but got charged a delivery. Not sure why as I thought maybe I chose a fast delivery option. But end up just the standard Royal Mail. And still didn’t receive it yet.

Early days but this Erebus is for me a watch of plusses and minuses. Studying the watch in the hand, it is magnificent. A beautiful timepiece of high quality manufacture. The finishing is excellent. Sadly for me this does not carry through onto the wrist. The strap is too short and I cannot get the watch to sit comfortably. The biggest problem though is readability. The elements that make the watch so appealing when placed on a flat surface, the materials, the style of the hands and indices, all combine to make reading the time very difficult at least for me. I also find the glass very reflective. I also have to learn to love the red pointer on the second hand. I was so sure I would love this watch, but now.....Like I said. Early days but I have a feeling this is not going to be a keeper.

Ainsdale II : Dial was slightly disappointing re the gloss finish not liquid smooth reflection rather some texture fom i presume the pad printing. In retrospect would have chosen a different version. However i really like the colour scheme. Sorry but not a patch on the Moritz dial.

Very pleased. Continues to look very stylish two years on. Just two slight gripes (I) the two leather loops on the strap have recently broken, meaning I’ve had to shell out for a new strap; and (II) it doesn’t keep going for that long if you keep it off your wrist (c. 12 hours) - although this might be normal for an automatic watch, this is the first one I’ve owned

Great quality case, a beautiful level of finishing on the dial and a very nice addition the collection. I was a bit surprised that the crown insert had already started to develop a patina when the watch arrived, but I suppose that is the nature of the material used. In real world use, I find the reserve to be far less than 40 hours. Typically the movement has stopped if the watch hasn't been worn (or wound) for a single day, which is a slight negative.

This is a beautifully made watch with one serious flaw. I originally wrote a rather negative review of this watch when I first received it, because I was extremely disappointed with the font in the outer ring that displays the cities on the world timer. It is extremely small and almost illegible. This is because it is only a 39mm dial, and it is probably just not possible to fit that much information into such a small space (most world timer watches are larger in diameter). This flaw of course still remains, and is disappointing, however, the more I wear the watch, the more I enjoy it, and am able to enjoy the many positive attributes, and overlook this shortcoming. The design is otherwise creative and beautiful, and the finishing excellent. The proportions are also very good, and the watch is extremely comfortable and wearable, both on the lovely leather strap and on the excellent metal bracelet (I purchased both and enjoy both equally). And the lume is really something special. It is still unfortunate about the font on the outer ring, however, at the end of the day, this is of course a novelty more than a function to be depended on (the time zones are only partly accurate, and affected by different uses of daylight savings time, etc.). And so while that still does bother me a little bit, I enjoy the other attributes of the watch so much, that I can easily overlook this design flaw.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. The Roché World Timer you mention is a very popular model and as such this is not feedback we have received from any owner, in fact quite the opposite. Most World Timers available today from other brands are at 39mm or in many cases smaller in diameter and therefore present a challenge to accommodate all the relevant information and retain a size under 40mm which is where the market is for World Timers. With regard to Engraving, we do explicitly state engraved watches can not be returned, this is a cost that we absorb as a service and is a popular option . FARER

I purchased the Crooms GMT Bezel with black St. Venere Strap. Overall the ordering process was clear and straightforward, though more description of the different strap options would have been appreciated - though effectively answered with a query before purchase. The delivery process was excellent as was the packaging and presentation. Overall the watch looks as good, if not better than expected. The light-catcher case and the red dial surrounded by the black bezel are a great combination. Combined with the black strap (why is this not shown more often in ads?) and brush steele case makes for quite a striking watch. Overall the size is as expected and about as big as I can wear comfortably. The only real drawback on the looks is the date, which I find is too small and takes some effort to see. This being my first GMT watch, it would have also been good to have some more detailed instructions as to how to set the watch but a few YouTubes later and that was sorted. Finally, and quite important to me, the watch is accurate to about 3 - 4 seconds a day. Note that I did not say +/-3-4 seconds a day as so far it is only losing time, which is a bit annoying. Yes, it is within the accuracy as quoted but I was hoping it would be a bit fast some days and slower others, not off by close to a minute after two weeks. I hope it will settle down with time.

The watch is brilliant but I was a bit disappointed with the strap. The tan colour was a lot flatter tonally than depicted on the web and it is too small for my wrist such that the watch sits unevenly, which is a shame. I'm sure with a longer strap it will be fine.

The marketing is excellent, the image is great but the watch itself didn't really live up to the hype. I expected the watch to be larger than it was which was a bit disappointing. It looked to be bigger in the photos. I'm quite a big man (6'2") The colours (one of the reasons I loved the look) were not as vibrant as the photos. Also, It was a shame that my first options for straps were not available. I'm not overly keen on the strap I chose. Overall it's pretty good but not quite as good as I'd hoped for.
