The return policy doesn't make any sense. I have to pay to return a product to London from the US. It would cost me more than the price of the products. If you can't handle customer service in the US then don't sell outside your country. The products themselves are good quality, just not the customer service.

The enamelware is gorgeous, but Falcon should be more transparent about the tariffs. I ended up paying $128 in tariffs and taxes. I would not recommend purchasing from Falcon without knowing exactly how much you will pay in total, including tariffs.

Hello, Thank you for your order. We try to be as clear as possible, we mention this on our banner, delivery information and product information. The FedEx bill is the newly implemented tariffs. This goes to the importing country via the courier. Due to current US trade regulations, Falcon Enamelware products shipped to the United States may be subject to import duties and taxes upon arrival. Any applicable charges are determined by US Customs, are outside of our control, and must be paid by the recipient. US IMPORT DUTIES & TARIFFS The customs clearance is the authorisation from US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that lets imported goods enter the United States once all duties and tariffs – including the current Section 301 tariffs on enamelware – have been assessed. CBP assigns the paperwork to the courier FedEx. The courier pays the duties and tariffs on your behalf, then invoices you for these costs together with its own brokerage or handling charge before delivery. Charges vary and Falcon Enamelware cannot collect or influence them in advance. For further details, see the CBP guide to buying goods online: https://www.cbp.gov/trade/basic-import-export/internet-purchases. Regards, The Falcon Enamelware team

These pitchers are pretty and just what they look like in the photo. But I think the company should adjust the price of the item to cover the huge tariffs that are getting slapped on for a U.S. market. Other companies are doing this, and it seems fair. Here, I first had to navigate some super confusing (and threatening) paperwork from Fed Ex during shipping, but when I reached out, the Falconware representative assured me that " we will take care of it." But then I was hit with a Fed Ex bill, *after* delivery, worth almost the price of my entire order. Falconware does warn customers on their website about possible tariffs, but the enormity of the bill was a surprise and pretty much doubled the cost of the item. Terrible business response, IMO.

Two weeks after I received the product, I received a $150.00 unexpected and never-disclosed bill from FedEx for a Tariff fee for the received items. When I contacted Falcon they indicated that is out of their control, in that they can not predict the tariff amount. The expectation of a Tariff fee should have been disclosed by Falcon during the ordering/checkout process -- as part of the shipping costs. Also the fee should be paid by Falcon. Also these products can not be microwaved of course, so that is a factor to consider. Would not purchase again.

After seeing a very positive Wirecutter review, I was excited to get two pitchers for my wife's birthday. I didn't look carefully, but had not appreciated that this would involve international shipping. The package was held up for weeks in customs and arrived long after the event (and initially estimated arrival date). I do appreciate the customer service representative (Andeela) who kept me up to date on the shipment. When they arrived, one of the pitchers had a piece of chipped enamel (photo attached).

The 3 pint jug that I gave my grandson for Christmas arrived damaged. Falcon Enamelware provided a refund, which is appreciated, however, a damaged Christmas gift remained. In my view this is not acceptable. Better packageing for long-distance shipping is needed. The company has been in business for a very long time. Perhaps this is a rare occurrence, but I'm rating the product based on my own experience which I very much wish was different.

I resent being shunted to the shop app to track the package, subjecting me to yet another app vacuuming up my personal data. What’s worse, I have been unable to get the app to work, so I don’t know where the package is. It certainly is not here.

Original review: most of the items arrived damaged New review: Falconware sent me another set of items to replace the damaged ones. THe new items were better but there are still minor chips on some of the cups. The quality control at Falcon seems quite bad considering the cost of the items.

EU prices are the same as in pounds INCLUDING taxes. But nevertheless "Kelly Newton" will ask FedEx to pay them AGAIN.

Hi Michael, Thank you for your order. We would encourage you to shop on our EU site. Our prices are in Euros and we have details of the customs clearance fees. This is a charge that is taken by the courier for the importing country, it is not a shipping fee. Please note Kelly is our account manager for the FedEx account that is shipping the parcels. the colors are beautiful but the pitcher chipped severely the first time it toppled over and while they say in theory it os still usable the edges of the enamel are very sharp and flaking.

Hi Daniela, Thank you for your order. Falcon Enamelware is made from a porcelain enamel, which is a powdered glass bonded onto steel. If a product is dropped/hit against something, the porcelain will chip as it is just glass fused onto metal. The metal core will never break but chips cannot be avoided. All of the materials used in our products are non-toxic and are still safe to use even in the event of the enamel chipping and exposure of the steel. If you have any further questions please write to us at info@falconenamelware.com Regards, The Falcon Enamelware team

Please tell me where in what obscure place on your website that you mention that your plates and bowls are made in China. Your lofty description leads a consumer to believe that you manufacture your products in the United Kingdom. I feel hoodwinked.

The imperfect items I bought were not slight imperfection but very noticeable color problems and one item had chips in the enamel. The discount of these pieces was not enough for the damage on these “perfectly perfect items”. I also wrote the company several complaints and have not heard back.

Packaging was not good. The set was in two different boxes. These were gifts for two different people and the one box was damaged and could not be used. These are expensive gifts to be delivered in torn, shoddy packaging. Tarragon color is very different from view on web

The 4 items that I purchased are a Christmas gift but the presentation & packaging was very poor and I was told no gift wrapping or branded tissue/bag/box was available from Falcon Enamelware in London. For the price paid for the"new" Falcon I would have expected more, or at least made a better effort. I got better wrapping/packaging in my local shop buying the "regular" Falcon that is available everywhere which also felt to be the same quality. I will not be buying the "new" Falcon again.

Hello, Thank you for your order. I don't see any correspondence with yourself over gift wrapping. We put our items in tissue and branded boxes where possible but to protect the products we may wrap in other protective wrapping. Please email us at info@falconenamelware.com for anything further. The enamelware looks good. My only concern is durability. Just the big tray of the baking set has started to show rust. there are two little points under the lip on each side; I guess where is held to submerge it in the enamel. Well, a couple of the points are starting to show a reddish colour, which tells me is starting to rust there, after just a couple of washes and eventually the rust will lift the enamel or work its way to the rest of the pan under the enamel. I haven't used the other ones much but probably will start having similar issues after washing them. I know now they will not last long, which is a shame.

The presentation on your website of the cup next to the tea pot is very misleading. They are aligned to make the tea pot appear much larger than it actually is. I'm giving the rating based on my assumption that it is deliberate. I just like honesty in presentation The
