Do NOT use this service. I was charged multiple separate fees just to even start the unlock process. I waited past the requested time — not the “instant unlock” they advertise on their site — and when it still wasn’t done, I asked for a refund. They refused to refund me and then blocked me from messaging them. I ended up going to another company and paid only $30, and they unlocked my device within 30 minutes with no issues. Save your money and avoid this place completely.

Hi — I’m sorry this was such a frustrating experience. Our records show your order (iPhone 17 Pro Max, Reseller Flex USA) is marked “Unlock Complete.” To finish an iPhone unlock please “connect the phone to WiFi and turn the phone off and then on” (Terms §8.1). I can confirm the payments you made were: $6.99 Network Check, $24.99 Eligibility Check, and $93 Standard Unlock. Please note that “Eligibility Check: These checks are non‑refundable” and “It is not possible to cancel your order once it is paid for” (Refund Policy / Terms §2.1). If the unlock truly failed after we worked with you and our technician couldn’t get a code to work, we would refund under “Incorrect Unlocking Code” — let me know and I’ll escalate. If the phone still isn’t working, send me your order number or IMEI and I’ll reopen this for investigation and help get it finished. — Charlotte

Please please please don’t give your money to these scammers!!! Very quick to take your money and tell you the job is done but when you send them proof that it hasn’t worked and it’s not completed, instead of trying to figure out the problem they just ignore you. For the last two weeks I have been asking for either help or a refund on the same ticket that hasn’t been closed and they are just fully reading my messages and ignoring me. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!! Haven’t had a refund yet either

Hi — Charlotte here, really sorry you’ve had that experience and thanks for flagging it. I can see your order (placed 11 Nov 2025) for an iPhone 14 on a UK network is showing "Unlock Complete" and you’ve paid £4.99 (Network Check), £23.99 (Eligibility) and £30 (Standard Unlock). Please try these quick checks first: - Connect the iPhone to Wi‑Fi and turn it off and on (our instructions: "iPhones: connecting the phone to WiFi and turning the phone off and then on;"). - Try a different SIM (from another UK network or a foreign SIM) to confirm. - Check Settings > General > About — if it shows "No SIM Restrictions" the phone is unlocked. If you get an "Incompatible SIM" or similar error, please send a short video of the error — as our policy states: "Specific iPhone Issue: Refunds are provided if an iPhone unlock fails solely due to 'Incompatible Sim' message. Proof in the form of a video is required." If that doesn’t help, reply with your order number or IMEI and I’ll reopen and escalate your ticket to a senior technician right away. I’ll stay on this until it’s sorted.

I asked a representative about getting a refund on the device as I decided not to keep it and after they emailed me back I was blocked from further communication.

Hi — I’m Charlotte. Sorry you were cut off after asking about a refund. Per our terms: "2.1 It is not possible to cancel your order once it is paid for," and our Refund Policy states "Eligibility Check: These checks are non-refundable." You paid $24.99 for the Eligibility Check (non-refundable) and $68 for the Standard Unlock; your order status shows "Unlock Complete," so the service has been delivered — refunds for change of mind aren’t provided. Refunds are only given in specific failure cases (for example: "Incorrect Unlocking Code" after working with a technician, or certain iPhone errors with video proof). If the phone still isn’t working for you I can reopen support and check eligibility for a refund or help finish the unlock — for iPhones the final step is to connect to WiFi and turn the phone off and then on ("iPhones: connecting the phone to WiFi and turning the phone off and then on;"). Please send your order number and the email used and I’ll get this escalated right away.

I paid both fees that was required and was notified that my phone was unlocked but when I went to check in my settings, it still showed that my phone was carrier locked. Paid almost $100 to not have what I needed done and tried contacting support and haven’t received any response back on resolving this issue in over 3 hours when it clearly states that I should receive a response back within 30 minutes.

Hi — I’m Charlotte, sorry you’re having this trouble and for the slow reply. I can see you paid $24.99 (Eligibility Check) + $68 (Standard Unlock) and your order shows “Unlock Complete.” Please try the iPhone unlock steps exactly as we use: "iPhones: connecting the phone to WiFi and turning the phone off and then on;" — make sure it’s on WiFi, power it fully off, then back on. If you have a non‑Verizon SIM, insert it to confirm the unlock. If it still shows carrier locked, it may need a Premium Service (if required this would show in your order status). I’ll escalate this to our unlock team right away — please reply with your order number and the last 6 digits of your IMEI so I can push this through faster.

Hi — I’m sorry you’re still locked out. Our records show your order (Oct 24, 2025) status is “Unlock Complete.” Please try the iPhone steps first: per our terms, “iPhones: connecting the phone to WiFi and turning the phone off and then on;” — connect to WiFi, fully power off, then power on. If that doesn’t work, try another carrier SIM or a restore via iTunes (only if not jailbroken). If your phone has Activation Lock or is blacklisted it can still appear unlocked but be unusable — as noted, “iCloud Activation Lock on iPhones: Contact the iPhone owner for iCloud removal or buy our iCloud Removal service. Sim unlocks won't be refunded if the device is unusable due to Activation Lock.” Also check whether a Premium Service was indicated in your status (required for some iPhones). Reply with your order number or IMEI and I’ll escalate this to our techs right away to walk you through the next steps. — Charlotte

The process of unlocking the phone on express unlock's end is quite fast but the problem is, it is only showing unlocked on their end but the phone itself is still showing SIM-Locked which a bit frustrating. As per turnaround time on the website, it is showing the support will reply within 30mins which they made a response within that given timeframe. However, the phone is still showing SIM-Locked. I made a follow up multiple times and no response given as if its like what they have in mind is, "it is showing on our end that your phone is unlocked so, get lost!". The customer service even advised me to record a video of the phone's setting which I made effort to do so but after sending multiple videos, no response at all. Maybe because I already made the payment?? I tried my luck getting a service that is supposed to be great but I'm so disappointed right now. I hope this gets fixed. All I want is to get an update if the process is still ongoing or should I still hope that they are working on it but sadly, I'm not getting anything at all. This is definitely a scam. I give up. They even offered me a refund to change the review from 1 start to 5 star and mentioned that they send the refund immediately which I agree to get the money back since the solution was never been given but it's been more than 10hrs and no refund. So changing it back to 1 star which is the original rating.

Hi — I’m really sorry for the frustration here. I can see your order shows "Unlock Complete" on our end for your iPhone 13 Pro Max on Smart Philippines. Quick things to try (and what we normally require): - Follow the iPhone unlock step: "iPhones: connecting the phone to WiFi and turning the phone off and then on;" - If that doesn’t work, try a different carrier SIM (not the original) or connect the iPhone to Finder/iTunes and check for the unlock status. - If the phone still shows SIM‑Locked, please resend the video you recorded showing: Settings > General > About (IMEI visible), the SIM‑locked message when you insert an incompatible SIM, and the order number. Per our policy: "Specific iPhone Issue: Refunds provided if an iPhone unlock fails solely due to 'Incompatible Sim' message. Proof in the form of a video is required." Next steps from me: please reply to the support email thread with that video (or attach it here with your order number and IMEI). I’ll escalate this to our technicians right away and ask for a prompt update. Your Eligibility Check and Standard Unlock payments have been recorded — because your status is "Unlock Complete" it suggests no Premium upgrade was flagged on your order. Thanks for your patience — send the video and order/IMEI now and I’ll push this up. Charlotte

In my experience, ExpressUnlocks is a complete scam. I had a fully paid-off and operational iPhone 16 Pro Max that was SIM-locked to AT&T. After several unsuccessful attempts to get AT&T to unlock the device, I found ExpressUnlocks through a Google search and decided to give their “fast service” a try. Weeks later, my phone was still not unlocked. They charged me multiple fees to “assess” the phone’s status, yet never provided any real progress or support. The so-called “tech support” responses appeared to be automated or AI-generated, offering no genuine help or accountability. After two frustrating weeks, I decided to contact AT&T again—this time reaching a live representative who unlocked my phone in less than two minutes. The phone now works perfectly, and I was able to give it to my son to use on Verizon’s network. I immediately informed ExpressUnlocks that their services were no longer needed, but they continued to send automated messages claiming they were still “working” on the unlock. This only confirmed my suspicion that their entire operation is automated and deceptive. I’m now out $94, with no refund and no ability to contact a real person. I strongly recommend avoiding this company. Complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau, and I urge others to stay away from ExpressUnlocks entirely

Hi — I’m really sorry this was so frustrating. I can see your order placed 01 Oct 2025 on expressunlocks.com for an iPhone 16 Pro Max and the status on our side shows “Unlock Complete.” For iPhones please try the final step we send in the emails: "iPhones: connecting the phone to WiFi and turning the phone off and then on;" — that usually completes the process. I appreciate you saying AT&T unlocked it quickly — please note our policies state: "Eligibility Check: These checks are non-refundable." and "Already Unlocked phones: No refund if you order an unlock for an already unlocked phone." If you’d like me to re-check your order and records so we can confirm what happened, please reply with your order number or the IMEI and I’ll investigate right away. — Charlotte

I am writing this review to warn future customers: This company is a scam. I paid for services under two separate orders, and the company has completely failed to deliver on both. I have received absolutely nothing for my money. Order 12928907: $59.00 Order 12928900: $28.99 Total Amount Paid for Zero Service: $87.99 Beyond the failure to deliver the service, their customer support is non-existent. I have sent multiple emails and requests, and they have stopped responding completely. Their live support system is non-functional and appears to be a front. This is not a case of a delayed service; this is a clear case of fraud. When a company takes money and then refuses to communicate or provide the promised service, they are running a scam. I have filed a formal demand for an immediate refund of the full $87.99 to be processed back to my original payment method (Google Pay). If a refund is not processed within 14 days, I will proceed with a chargeback through my bank and escalate this case to consumer protection authorities and law enforcement. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. They will take your money and disappear. I expect an immediate response and confirmation that my refund is being processed.

Hi — Charlotte here. I’m sorry it took 4 days to complete your unlock — I know that’s frustrating. As our terms explain, "Any timeframes stated are a calculation of the previous weeks unlocks and are given as a guideline, NOT a guarantee." We also aim to keep you informed: "if your unlock is in progress we will immediately notify you of any changes to delivery times and keep you informed right up to the point of unlocking." Your order (placed Sep 17, 2025) shows Unlock Complete. Your codes are NCK=3031861364157352 and MCK=6849526039481425. For non‑iPhones, follow the email instructions and enter the codes — as stated, "Non-iPhones: entering the unlocking codes provided in accordance with the email instructions;" If the codes don’t work or you need step‑by‑step help entering them, reply and I’ll walk you through it right away. Thanks for your patience.

Hi — I’m Charlotte. I’m really sorry you’ve had a slow experience and felt our support was poor. To clarify the charges: you’ve paid $24.99 for the Eligibility Check and $106 for the Standard Unlock — these are two separate, listed costs at checkout (Eligibility checks are non‑refundable). As our policy states: "Eligibility Check: These checks are non‑refundable." Your order status shows Unlock Complete and your codes are: NCK = 9391535738164258 MCK = 4709524964841863 Next steps (per our instructions): for non‑iPhones you should insert a non‑AT&T SIM and enter the unlocking codes when prompted — "Non‑iPhones: entering the unlocking codes provided..." If the phone doesn’t prompt for a code or the codes don’t work, reply here and I’ll escalate to our technicians and help get this finished. Again, sorry for the frustration — tell me if you want me to walk through the unlock steps with you or escalate now.

Tell me what happens when you insert the new SIM and I’ll assist.

DO NOT USE THIS "COMPANY!" It is a complete scam. All you need to do is contact your cellular service provider if you purchased the phone from them. If you still are making payments on the phone, you will need to have the paid paid off and then they will unlock the phone. This company is a scam. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I paid off my four phones with ATT and Espressunlock pops up telling me I need to run a background check to see if my phones are lost or stolen for $24.99 and $68.00 for something else. I thought this was ATT. Found out ATT new nothing about expressunlock. I was scammed out of $235.96. Tried to get my money back from ATT and my bank and couldn't. TOTAL SCAM!

Hi Barry, I can understand why you're upset. I’d like to clarify that our service is completely independent of AT&T—the charges for the eligibility check ($24.99) and the unlocking payment ($68.00) are clearly detailed on our checkout page before purchase. Your order for your iPhone 14 shows as "Unlock Complete," which means the unlock service has been successfully provided. I know this may be confusing, but all costs and steps are outlined in our terms. If you need any more help or have further questions, I'm here to assist.

I’m reaching out because after numerous attempts, I noticed today that the IMEI number that I supplied is not the iPhone that was unlocked. I’ve waited over a month for this to be completed. I have been blocked from using the portal so therefore I had no choice except to come here to leave my review I would like a refund for this because clearly the IMEI number that I see is not the one that I supplied you with After me reaching out numerous times that was changed and now all of a sudden the phone it seemed to be unlocked, but it’s not and I’ve reached out numerous times to support with no reply. I supplied 2 numbers in the beginning but the phone that you are saying B was unlocked by your service was already unlocked by the carrier I paid in full for this device so technically I can’t say the service worked for my unlock
