“We used express unlocks to unlock a phone that we had brought off a friend. It was pretty straight forward. Within two hours we had the code and had unlocked the phone. So if you need to unlock a phone I would definitely recommend this site.”

“Unlocking EMEA phone. Were given a locked phone outside EU by our insurance which was stupid and couldn't use it abroad. Used expressunlock as a last resort. Not express as the name would suggest but at the end, the unlocking worked. It had taken 2 attempts and we were very dubious whether it would succeed as the last 1% was taking ages on the second attempt. Then it worked. I must say their customer service were quick to answer too and start a second attempt when the first didn't work. It might have taken few days but all good at the end. Thanks”

“I have never had a phone unlocked before so that I have little knowledge as to how the service and the prices compare to other providers. This is the main reason as to why I have given four points; five points would have required me to know what other providers charge and how quick the process is. I had reason, however, to have my handset unlocked fast and from home, and this was done quickly and efficiently. Some notes of caution: Because I was in a rush, I did not pay sufficient attention to the details on the website. I used it, because the EE logo was displayed (I had googled how to unlock an EE phone). It took me a while to realise that the service was not provided by EE. Because I was in a rush and had not paid sufficient attention to the terms, the request for a second, much higher payment surprised me (although, according to expressunlocks, the website states that two payments are required to complete the process). The third issue, over which expressunlocks had no control, was my spam filter: all the emails expressunlock sent, ended up there. It's well possible that the process had been even the faster if I had received the information they sent. Altogether, therefore, it was a mixed experience in some ways, but mainly through my own fault.”

“The service is easy to use and pretty quick. What's not clear is that the initial charge is only an eligibility check. Once passed you do get asked for a further payment to get your code. Would be great if this was more prominently stated. That said, the service is quick and I received a code to unlock a device I'd bought 2nd hand not realising it was locked”

“It’s and easy straightforward unlocking service. For clarity there is an initial checking fee and if this is passed another full unlock fee. It took less than 1 hour to get my son’s phone unlocked from ee and the instructions were sent through very clearly.”

“All done remotely which is very good as i liked not having to give it to a shop for a few days to get it done. Took about 48 hours but phone still usable during unlocking and when it was said to be done it worked no problem. 4/5 star given only as i was hoping it was done within 24 but still happy customer”

“Would not call it express but it does get the job done I used them for an old phone so they had to get code from manufacturer so it did take a long time but would recommend if all else fails”
