“I have sent two emails requesting a Vat receipt and as yet not had a response. It would be good practice to send these as a pdf attachment with the acknowledgment email.”

We can only apologise on behalf of Parcelforce that an alternative delivery/collection has not been made. “Ordered a product which was available online, got told the day after that it may be out of stock but would check, was only told 5 days after ordering that it was out of stock and was a clearance item.”
