Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I’ve just bought our second holiday insurance with Explorer - using Blue Light discount. We haven’t needed to make a claim so I can’t comment on that but I can say the service has been excellent so far. Ian sends regular updates and lots of useful information (eg a reminder to order a new EHIC card, which I’d completely forgotten about, together with the link). I would definitely recommend :)”

“certainly plain and easy , not too inquisitive , filled in all my ailments , but the only down fall is there is no clarification or guarantee that you are totally covered, so lets just hope that all goes well and insurance is not needed”

“We have only just changed over to Explorer, so I am unable to comment on their service regarding service and claims etc. We have been with Staysure, Paying Too Much etc.,but now usually find what we want via the comparison websites. We chose Expolrer because they were relatively inexpensive for what we want, ie cruises in Europe,”
