“Priced competitively. However am not in a position to comment on Explorer Travel Insurance performance in that although I've taken out several policies over the recent years, I've never had to make a claim.”

“I found that as Ian illness which I have not for 7years as the specialist told me that “it is just watch and wait” I now see the specialist every 9months my next appointment is in April 2020 . otherwise all is OK but I don’t travel until 16th September 2019.”

“Have used Explorer many times now, easy online web site and competitive premiums, even with many medical declarations. Cannot comment on claims service as never had to use.”

“Website easy to navigate, policy excellent value, provided good cover. Had to amend my policy as my wife was taken ill shortly before our holiday, hospitalised for several days then treated at home with intravenous antibiotics. Amended the health screening questions online, declared an additional medical condition and was provided with a quote. Rang to speak to an advisor, explaining the situation to her and she said my wife wouldn't be covered as she was still receiving treatment. I asked her if that was the case, how had I obtained a quote. She said to hold on whilst she checked the medical screening then came back on and said everything was ok. Maybe a bit more training is required.”

“Covered our travel insurance needs on several previous occasions. No claims made so cannot comment on how Explorer would have dealt with any claim, but ideally I don't want anything to claim about. I have recommended Explorer to several friends whom I know have been impressed”
