Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“This is first time with Explorer when cover with previous company ran out when I became over 75. Good cover at reasonable price. One difference is that Explorer has several Activity levels (instead of just the option to add cover for Winter sports which I was used to). Only discovered these multiple Activity level after reading the policy details; would be good if these were flagged up during the process of taking out the insurance.”

“Excellent customer service. If it was not for Explorer Travel Insurance we would not be able to afford to travel abroad, so full credit to them. I was disgusted how some of the big insurance companies treat pensioners, some refusing cover, others charging crazy money. Well done Explorer for caring”

“Fortunately I have had nothing gone wrong within the 2 years I've held explorer insurance so cannot comment on their claim service. I was upset at the charges for added cruise holidays in my renewal notice which brought my premium in line and slightly more expensive than competitors.”
