Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Medical Conditions, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“We have been taking this insurance for many years. Fortunately we have never had to make a claim so I can’t comment on that. This year I did find it quite a jump in price and that’s the only negative I have.”

“Good policy and I am sure that normally the details would come to me fast by email but I have a talktalk email address and your company for some reason has a problem with this which means that you cannot send anything to me that way. My wife also bought a similar policy from you which she received OK on her icloud address but she was then unable to forward it to me. So I then had to ask for it through snail mail. I have no problem with my address with other suppliers. Can you not get this inexplicable problem sorted out? Regards Stuart Burgess”

“Although had no need to claim on the insurance policies, they were easy to purchase and appropriate to our needs. The only problem we encountered was trying to contact them by phone to advise of additional medical issue - gave up eventually after protracted period in a queue.”
