Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Call me old fashioned (as my daughters do) but it is so simple setting up travel insurance with Explorer, just call them up. I am sure you could find a cheaper deal via the internet, but it is reassuring to verbally discuss any health issues & know you are properly protected. I unfortunately had to make a claim with them 4 years ago when my then 82 year old mother passed away. That went reasonably smoothly & was paid out. Been using them twice a year for around 10 years. Taking my 83 year old mother in law away with us shortly & had no problems insuring her despite a cancer scare a year or so ago. Have recommended Explorer to many people.”
