Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I find the medical questions don’t give you the chance to input any extra information: for example, I have had a heart attack and a stent inserted but I do not have high blood pressure and never have although I have to take medication for high blood pressure. I also have to take statins for high cholesterol but have never had a high cholesterol in any investigation. Perhaps the forms could be reviewed with space for extra information to be added.”

“I rang originally but Wasn’t impressed the advisor sounded as if he didn’t want to be there, would not stray from his script, finished up doing it on line, which was fine. Usually prefer to speak to someone.”

“Explorer Travel Insurance has provided me with the insurance I need, despite my pre-existing conditions, to go on holiday with the confidence of knowing that I'll be covered for any forseeable eventualities. “But early to be asking for a review before our trip.......proof of the pudding is in the eating......ask me for a review if I unfortunately have to make a claim! Rumour has it you contract out your business to 'Fogg Insurance' and reviews on people who make a claim are at best not good! So I'll let you have a review if I have to use your claims department!”

“Have used this company several times, both single trip and annual policies. I have always found the site to be easy to use and as I have require medical cover for both my wife and myself they have always been very competitive on price. Fortunately thus far I have not had to make a claim, but do not anticipate any problems should I need to given the great service I have currently received.”
