Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Very difficult to get a quote. Had received an email offering 5% discount (still not sure if I've received it). Didn't initially use the 5% discount link but did go in to apply via my email. Received a quote but did live chat to see if they had applied the discount. They hadn't so needed to go through the whole process again. Came up with a different and much higher quote. Tried several times in various ways to retrieve the original quote. Got there in the end but it was a very long process involving 2 live chats and 1 phone call”

“Its difficult to review a travel insurance company, unless you have had to avail yourself of their services, such as, how they handle your claims. I am, at the moment, awaiting the result of a claim. I will better be able to give a review, depending on the outcome of the claim.”
