Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Well nothing really to say as no problems whilst away so no way of knowing how well problems are dealt with. All I can say is that the price is very good and it was a simple process to go through to buy. Hopefully all will continue without issue. This insurance provides peace of mind which is excellent. “Easy to deal with. But I had a flight to Australia with a 20 hour stopover in China. The policy didn’t cover that and you quoted a price that was double what you’d quoted.”

“I have been vey pleased with Explorer for more than 10 years now. My big question is who do I change to next year as I have been informed by one of your colleagues that I am only allowed up to 17 days and I have a 21 day cruise booked for 2027.”

“Exporer travel insurance are a no nonsense company with a straightforward approach , not the usual questions going into the smallest illness you might have had years ago , anyone who has used other companies know what I’m talking about.
