Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“So I think like all questions all companies go back 9 years why not listen to people in a box marked more information this would help people get a better deal or is it a computer just asking these questions to save money, I say this all the time on questioner's but no reply”

“Last year i had a serious accident in France. Explorer were very helpful, organising a plane to take me from a French hospital to one in Cambridge. This involved them liaising with both hospitals and was done very efficiently.”

“For a couple in our 70s who do a couple of cruises a year, Explorer was the best overall annual travel insurance that we could find. Thankfully we have never had to make a claim or call upon them for assistance so our review is based within that context. We found the whole process easy to complete and at a very reasonable price I would happily recommend them.”

“Nt a straight forward claims process, had to go through multiple layers of claims record, no email way to get the response. Also very small print about gadget claims and simply rejected without a standard process. Not happy at all and I will not deal with this company again even given me a free of cost.”
