The pen was a gift to Evie and this company are terrible at communication twice I told them it was a gift but no ..they insist on calling me Evie although I even wrote to tell them that they had wrong details.... nothing changed

Hello, I'm very sorry to hear that your experience with our team was not up to the standard you expected. I've had a look through the emails between yourself and my colleague and I can see that your billing and shipping address had merged to your friends who the gift was for. As the confirmation emails are sent immediately by an automatic system these do go off the billing address provided so ultimately included Evies name rather than your own. I can see my colleague has changed your billing details to the ones provided by yourself including your name. However as we aim to dispatch items as soon as possible for you guys to receive them quickly there can be a delay between the system updating and the automated email template which may have meant that the dispatch email to yourself also contained Evies name. We would have been more than happy to resend these once updated with your details on if requested. Thank you for highlighting this as we are always looking for ways to improve our business and methods that we use so we will definitely put this forward to our IT team. I was looking for two quality roller ball pens which could be engraved as a keepsake for two of my grand children for Christmas. I chose Executive Pens because of excellent service in past years. The pens arrived nicely gift boxed, but I was disappointed to discover my grand children’s names had been printed rather than Laser engraved. It looked cheap. Very disappointed . John Roberts

Hi John I am sorry you are a little disappointed with your pens. I can confirm we only engrave our pens. We have never printed pens, because printing doesn't give a permanent mark. We use a combination of laser etching and drag engraving depending upon the finish of the pen. For example our lacquer finish pens are laser etched because the drag engraver can chip the lacquer and give a rough cut. With the laser, we can get a clean cut on the material, so the engraved text looks crisp. For the Waterman Rivera Pens, they have a thin layer of lacquer on them which we remove to reveal the silver barrel below with the laser engraver so the text finish is shiny silver to match the trim of the pen. I am sorry if the effect is not as you expected, but I can confirm it should not wear away with use as printed pens would. Ordered two fountain pens. Unfortunately, only one ink cartridge was supplied with the Cross Bailey light - advert stated two. Both products boxed and nicely presented.

Great product and price. Felt there was a lack of communication though, except for the confirmation of order email, nothing else at all. After a week I nearly contacted about my order but then it arrived :-)

It is a decent pen. I wish I was given the opportunity to decide what color ink, but it is easily replaceable at a small cost. I just wish it felt more premium. Feels like plastic masquerading as metal. There's little weight to it and it's rather short. I guess it is just me wanting to weird a sword and statement pen.

Good product sensible price service was on time as promised. However on line ordering system is flawed. It said that my e-mail address was not valid. Incorrect!!! I checked it and the address I entered was correct. Their system cannot cope with encrypted highly secure e-mail addresses.

Loved the colour but did not realise it came in two halves and when put together seems a little flimsy. The engraving is very subtle in a light silver, not a very good combination with the pink as the recipient at first did not know it was engraved with their name.

Hi Michael I am very sorry to hear about the engraving on your pen was not as you expected. With all our pens, each range is made from slightly different materials, so they all engrave slightly differently. I see you ordered a Cross Century which is a silver colour and engraves with more of an etch in the surface and so it is a little bit more subtle than on some pens where we are removing the top layer and revealing a different colour below. A lot of our customers prefer this subtle finish, however I do understand that you may not have expected this. Would have been 5 but, due to lack of packaging, the plastic case for the pen was broken. If it had been destined as gift it would have had to be broken. Not good at all.

Many ways to pay, overcomplicated billing site, pricing is kind of hilarious (+£7 for an engraving?? +£9 for a leather case?) leading to a final total which was more than double just the pen itself. Good selection though.

Hi Lee, Thank you for your honest feedback, we are pleased you like the pen. We offer an engraving service as an extra as many customers have requested it. Our price is £6.50, due to the time it takes to setup and perform the engraving. We feel it is a fair price based on our competitors higher prices, but we do offer cheaper engraving on some of our budget pens as the process is slightly quicker. Regarding our payment system, we use the industry leading card payment system and also offer paypal for customers who prefer to pay by this method as it is a convenient way to quickly make payment. Pen received on time nicely gift wrapped, but with the bloody receipt and order note!!When I asked for the pen only to be sent to the receiving address and the bill/order receipt to my address, spoilt the surprise present so thanks. Won't be using you again after that
