Hi Klara I am very sorry that your item didn't arrive. The parcel was returned to us as undeliverable by the Royal Mail, which usually means there is an issue with the address. We have reached out to you via email and telephone call to try and confirm the delivery address, but as yet have been unable to reach you. Are you able to give us a call or drop us an email to confirm the delivery address and recipient for us and we will happily resend the parcel out on an express service. Customer Service is poor. I have yet to receive my item as the company knew there were issues with the pen ink coming through US customs before my order and yet did nothing to correct the issue. They did not inform me that this could be a problem. If I knew this then I would have never purchased the product. This was a gift for a dear collogue and I was embarrassed when I now have to give a generic gift. Will never use this company again.

Hi Anthony I apologise for any issues that you are having with delivery of this item in the US. I can see you have been in contact with my colleague, Abby, throughout the situation and I can see that Abby has been in contact with Fedex regarding this issue. It is not something we see very often, as ink is not a toxic substance. We declare this in advance so there should be no issues. We are working to make sure Fedex corrects this as there should be no delays with our fedex parcels, given that we pay the customs clearance on behalf of our customers. My apologies again for the inconvenience caused. Abby has refunded the shipping costs in full to your account and is continuing to chase Fedex to get the parcel moving as fast as possible. I have been in communication with pens direct as I have been very disappointed by the large size of the engraving applied to the pen I ordered, it is in my opinion unsightly and spoils the sleek lines of the pen. It would have been preferable to be offered an opportunity to describe the size of engraving to be applied when ordering the pen. It is my plan to give all members of my family a set of two pens and complete the set with a retracting pencil. This would have meant three orders for a total of 6 members of my family. However in view of the responses to date to my unhappiness with the pen ordered recently I will be ordering from another company.

Good Afternoon Julie Thanks for your feedback regarding the sizing of the text on your pen. As we are discussing via email already, I will try to keep this reply short. Once again I apologise for any difference in the expected size of the text engraved on your pen, and that you are not completely happy with the overall effect. Our engravers use their best judgement on the size of the text for each pen. As each pen differs in space available, the size can vary slightly from pen to pen and in this case, I understand you would have preferred slightly smaller, more subtle engraving. Thank you again for your constructive feedback regarding coming up with a way to allow customers to choose the size of the text during ordering. We are actively looking for ways to introduce this in some form on our website, we believe it would be very beneficial to give our customers more choice regarding this. We are already trialing offering customers the choice of position of engraving on some pens, cap or barrel and I am hopeful we can also introduce your suggestion in the near future. Hello Sara, I'm very sorry to hear that your parcel has not arrived - we do encourage people to get in touch with us if this happens and we are more than happy to open an investigation into this. I've had a look and unfortunately it looks as though it's been marked 'return to sender' due to an incorrect address being entered - as this was an international service it can take a week or so to reach us again so I will keep an eye on this being returned. I ordered two pen refills, and they never arrived. Two weeks on, still nothing!! I got a refund in the end, and ordered the same two refills from another seller. They arrived within 3 days. I would not recommend this company to anyone....

Hello Jill, I'm very sorry to hear that this hasn't arrived for you yet. I can see that your order was dispatched within 3 hours of being placed. Unfortunately at the moment like many other companies we are seeing some issues with the Royal Mail in particular parts of the country - with covid causing staff shortages and a influx of weather issues causing delays too. I've taken a look at your account and I can see you spoke to one of my colleagues regarding this situation after 5 days of the order being placed which was then refunded for you instantly. This can take a few days to drop back into your bank account as this is a standard procedure with any company. I'm glad to hear you managed to get the refills from another company and I'm sorry to hear you wouldn't recommend us to anyone. I apologise again for the incovience the situation has caused. HI Paul I am very sorry about any issues you have had with your delivery. The Royal Mail are really struggling to process the increased volume of parcels they are seeing during the lockdown from covid-19 and unfortunately, despite their heroic efforts, we have seen a few parcels delayed longer than expected. We are speaking to them frequently to keep up to date with ongoing issues. Hi Sahil I am sorry for any inconvenience you have had with the Royal Mail delivery. I have tracked your order via the Royal Mail site and there was a delivery attempted on 2nd May but they were unable to deliver due to no answer. I will email you directly now regarding this to see if we can get your parcel delivered as the Royal Mail are are currently holding the parcel at your local delivery office ready for pick up or redelivery. We are an authorised retailer of Parker and Waterman pens, and all our pens come from Parkers UK parent company, Newell Rubbermaid. We are happy to provide our authorised retailer details. If I can ask why you feel that the pen seems fake, and we can take this information back to Parker to give them feedback. They are always happy to hear back from customers so they can continue to improve their products. The Parker Jotter you have purchased is the entry level pen of the Parker range and as such is built slightly cheaper than the other pens they provide. I am also going to reach out to you direct to see if there is anything we can do to help resolve your issue, whether it be replacing the pen with something more preferable, or providing a full refund. The universal ink cartridges, which were supposed the fit my Diplomat ink pen, do not fit. They leak and I was continuously covered in ink on my hands.

Hi Esther I am very sorry to hear you have had problems with these ink cartridges. They are designed to fit the universal ink filler system. This is the same system on newer Diplomat pens. We have tested them and they work great on the Diplomat pens we have in stock here in the office. I am going to reach out direct and see if there is anything we can do to help, and whether they have been seated fully in the filler mechanism, sometimes if the refill hasn't 'clicked' into place, the ink can leak out. The pen i had engraved was very small and the engraving was so tiny and could not be seen as it was a silver colour on a silver pen. I have had this done on two pens with another company and they cost less and were really nice. I regret using this company as it was a total waste of money very poor quality engraving and expensive as well. You do not get a chance to see an example of the engraving on your pen before you place your order so the size or style is all well hidden and you can not return the pen once it is engraved. I was extremely disappointed with my product and its price. It can not be given as a gift as i intended will have to buy another BUT not with this company. This will be one for the bin!!

Hi Ali I am very sorry you are not happy with your engraved pen. We want every customer to have a great experience with us so let me see if I can help. With these silver pens, we don't print on the pens, we are using an etching/engraving technique which adds the engraving onto the pens in the traditional manner. Since the pen is not covered in any type of lacquer, this means there is no colour change to the engraving so you get a subtle etched finish which many people love. It sounds like the other pens you have had may have been colour printed to to make it more visible. However we don't offer this service because it is not permanent and the text tends to wear away with use due to the moisture from your hands. We can if you prefer add a black laser etch to these pens so that the text is more visible, and it is a permanent mark so will not wear away as printing does. If you would like to return the pen for a full refund or an exchange for another pen with a more visible engraving, we are happy to do this as we want every customer to be happy with their purchase. I will contact you today to discuss some options. We don't want any customer to go away unhappy with their items. Not of the expected quality. ‘Engraving’ was bland and cheap-looking (just an ink transfer). Pen was matt and not shiny silver. Packaging very cheap, flimsy and bland so not good for a gift. Overall dissatisfied.

Hi I am very sorry you are not happy with your purchase. We have had great feedback about our Parker Pens. If there is anything specific you are concerned about please email us direct and we will rectify the problem immediately for you. With regards to the engraving, we only engrave our pens, we don't have the facility print onto the pens. Our engraving process removes the top surface of the material to reveal a different colour below so the text shows as a different colour. Each pen engraves with a slightly different finish depending on the material that particular pen brand is made of so some engrave in gold, some silver, and some dark grey. Once again I apologise if the pen does not suit your requirements in this instance, we want all our customers to be satisfied with their purchase.
