I can see the item you purchased was sent as shown on your order, on a 2-7 working day service with the 7th working day being in 2 days time due to the bank holiday last week. We do offer a free 1-5 day delivery service on most orders, however, I can see you chose to upgrade to the 2-day courier option. Hi Anne, Thank you for getting in touch. We can confirm your parcel has been dispatched and collected by Royal Mail, however, due to their intermittent strike action and the additional load caused by Christmas shopping, as well as the cold weather, they are experiencing severe delays in processing parcels. We are as frustrated as you by this, but our efforts to find another courier who can handle our amount of parcels have been unsuccessful. So we do apologise if your delivery has been delayed, but we would really appreciate your patience while we do everything possible to get through this very challenging time. Ordered a PFD on 29th November. 14th December, still not arrived. Whilst there has been postal strikes and weather disruption, other items ordered from other companies and much later have arrived.

You have always been my go to provider of kayaking equipment but as of this latest transaction i am highly concerned and dissatisfied and will no longer be recommending you. You used to have a phone number customers could use to contact you with questions regarding a product. Now it's impossible to speak to anyone. Email communications are neither rapid nor appropriate to resolve more complex queries. Requesting a phone back doesn't work.

Had a problem with delivery not being made on time and customer services were argumentative at best. Had paid extra for 48 hour delivery but not met. Will not use again

I paid for a paddle from this company, which their chosen courier failed to deliver. I've been waiting weeks for news of what is going to be the outcome. Absolutely disappointed by the customer care and I will never buy anything from Escape Watersports in future.

Unfortunately wet suit boots filled full of water on first attempt of wearing, Emailed to say they were not suitable, was told as i had worn once,"no return ". I understand but how was i expected to find this out unless i wore them ? I do think a good will voucher would have gone a long way , ànd i would have used escape watersports again ! Unfortunately i won't be..

I purchased a cockpit cover that should have fitted my kayak (cockpit size 97 x 52, cover size 95 x 55) however the cover I received was not even close to big enough. I sent a photo to EscapeWatersports showing how small it was and asked for help with return shipping costs, but they refused as they felt my cockpit was larger than advertised. No common sense used and poor customer service, will not use them again.

Hi Matt thanks for leaving your review. As our team have already advised (and you have confirmed yourself) you have purchased a cockpit cover which length is 2cm shorter than your kayak's cockpit. This isn't therefore a fault with the product, the product is the just wrong size. Although the width may be shorter on your kayak, the length will still likely affect how the cockpit cover would fit overall, and in future it would be best to select a cockpit size that will fit the both width and length.

Items still not received !! Customer service overall very unhelpful, still awaiting a response for items paid for with nothing to show !!! ☹️ If I ran my business like this I wouldn’t last 2 minutes.

I had to order 3 sizes of water shoes to be able to keep two pairs as reviews indicated that sizing was lower than usual UK sizing. I am appalled that when I came to return the pair that didn't fit (which was my usual size) I was told that return postage would not be paid according to terms and conditions. These shoes are not fit for purpose if sizes are incorrect so under consumer rules this constitutes a free postage return. We are new customers and I will never order from this company again so how is this good business practice? I paid for delivery so why should I pay for a return in these circumstances? This company has a bad attitude and had I have known before two of the pairs had been worn I would have returned all 3 pairs out of disgust! My advice is that there are better companies around to supply the same goods so buy from them.

BAD experience!!! I ordered a buoyancy aid and few tops almost a month ago. It was (according to the royal mail) delivered BUT the postman left it in an unsecured place, we were miles away celebrating my partner's birthday I spent over £100 for a present that he doesn't have and I don't have my money. The company is required by law to give me a full refund but they keep saying they have to sort it out with Royal Mail. Well, they should BUT at the end of s day I have NO money neither the products. AND as an irony, I can win £100 for submitting the review!!! Go figure!

The original orders were placed separately and dispatched independently of each other on separate days via Royal Mail. As the tracking showed both packages had been delivered to the correct address on alternate days, we then raised a claim with Royal Mail and openly communicated with you throughout the process. The initial claim was accepted and a refund was immediately issued. There was then a delay with the 2nd claim, but once this had been accepted, a secondary refund was also made. We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused

Shocking Delivery In the the last week I have had deliveries from three other marine companies. This is how their ordering process works when ordering online. 1. conformation of the order by email. 2. conformation of dispatch of the order by email and text message 3. conformation of the hourly delivery slot on the day of delivery. This was my Escape Watersport ordering experience: 1. conformation of order by email. 2. No conformation of dispatch, I had to phone up, to see if it had actually had been dispatched, was given a UPS tracking number, the delivery was in transit, no time slot available. Waited all day for order, never turned up. Spoke to UPS, Item sent back to depot, driver couldn't find. Despite giving delivery directions and my mobile number on my initial order with Escape Watersports. 3. Yesterday, spoke to UPS to confirm it was actually going to be delivered, it was out for delivery, again no time slot given. The delivery was finally delivered, to the wrong place I may add at 3pm. My delivery instructions were not on the parcel, not that it should have been needed anyhow. The three other companies coped just fine. So to conclude I will not use Escape Watersports again, your price for a Werner paddle may be good, but your delivery is shocking.

Hi, Many thanks for your review, I can only apologise for the delivery issue this is the first we have heard about it. So the review given is more a review of a UPS driver rather than us as a seller. We as a seller are constrained by what UPS allow us to put on the parcel and the actions they will take. If we had been informed by yourself we would have intervened and tried to make good. I can only apologise on behalf of UPS for the service delivered.
