Item never arrived as there was missing info on the delivery note (house name) however The phone number and the remaining address was clearly displayed, yet the item could not be delivered nor was i contacted via phone. The reason I purchased from you was because you offered next day delivery and the item was ordered on a Wednesday. After confusion was clarified it turned out that now shipping could not be arranged until the Monday. Whos fault was it? Who knows but i think a little more communication could have resolved this issue within the allotted time frame to get the delivery back to me by the fri as i required. Email wasnt sent out to me until the end of working day on Thursday, stating there was missing info and by the time you had seen my reply on fri morning DPD had already done half their delivery round meaning my parcel was left once again in the depot.

Hi Tomos, We are very sorry that your parcel never arrived with you, however, DPD were unable to locate your address when they attempted to deliver your parcel as the house name was missing from your order. As per their protocol, the parcel was then returned to the depot and we were notified. We sent you an email requesting your address as soon as we heard from them and we received your response the following morning, however, they are not able to offer the same day delivery as the parcel needed to be relabelled. We also are unable to offer collection from DPD depots as that is not something DPD allows us to do. Due to the weekend, the next available delivery slot was Monday, which you declined so your order was refunded promptly. Had issues with delivery and they would not follow up with courier having paid for next day delivery received 3 days later

Hi Steve, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear you were not happy with DPD's service, however, we can see from their image and GPS tracking that they did attempt to deliver the parcel on their next-day service, however, there was no answer at your address. Can't really write a review on how you've done. As of the 18th December 2022, I still haven't received my goods that I ordered on the 29th November 2022 via 48hr tracked postage due to the postal strikes.... Maybe it's time to change your despatch company to someone more reliable...?

We can confirm your parcel has been dispatched and collected by Royal Mail, however, due to their intermittent strike action and the additional load caused by seasonal shopping, as well as the cold weather, they are experiencing severe delays in processing parcels. i bought something that was not clear at all on the advert, i tried to explain that it was confusing and allowed me to incorrectly buy, i wanted to buy additional stuff to correct, just got the send it back if you have ordered it wrong, i know this, just wanted to point out how it could be mistakenly ordered, , just eneded up arguing with something i wanted to correct, and thought i was being helpful not for me

I received a delivery from Escape Watersports and although the bag described the item I had ordered, the contents were neither the brand or the size I had ordered, so it has been returned, such a shame as it was a birthday present for my son.

No, you didn't do too well this time. There was no warning on your pages about not shipping internationally (for ridiculous non-reasons, I must add), so being denied shipment after many hours shopping and measuring family and the boats came as a shock. So I found a friend of a relative in UK to ship the whole thing to (he agreed to re-ship internationally). So now I keep getting emails from you calling me in that guy's name. Please don't confuse the billing and shipping names!

Equipment was all good and as expected. Unfortunately extremely excessive packaging was used including a large amount of unrecyclable protection material (which was not needed as the products were not fragile)

Return policy is not in favour of customers. Customers have to pay for return courier services.

The product itself is what it should be. However I am extremely disappointed for the packaging of the product. Although the paddle stayed inside it could've dropped out of it anytime. I wonder if courier checked what's inside :thinking:

I ordered some boots, and did not realise the photo did not really match the description-my fault for not examining the photo more closely, I would have had to enlatge it by some way. When I rceived them I was very disappointed and telephoned the office. I was told I had to pay for the return postage, which cost £13, even though I was not satisfied with the boots, and I found the person I spoke too not at all sympathetic or understanding. It is unfortunate that this happened, I am sure that in other cases service could have been better.

Hello, I'm sorry to see that you feel unsatisfied with the service you received. The product was advertised using a stock image (provided by the manufacturer) and has a matching description in line with the manufacturer's own description. This being the case, the cost of return postage is at the buyer's expense as described in our terms and conditions. For your future returns, I would advise looking at courier companies such as MyHermes and Collectplus, as they offer competitive shipping rates from as little as £3.99 for items of this size. Prices good, but delivery not so good. Got a message on tuesday to ask when to deliver. Put down friday 8-16, and stayed at home waiting.. And nothing. No delivery - no contact - no nothing. Was going on holiday that weekend aswell, so it would of been nice to reseive the items as promissed.

Well, Escape Watersports, you did great ! Fantastic. All the products are simply astonishing quality. But... Despite I search for specific details, and then I had e pleasant e-mail exchange with Beckii, and she wrote: "Going by the measurements you have provided and the size chart available, the R3 spray deck should fit your kayak. " , that PALM ROANOKE R3 can't fit my cockpit Boreal/ Epsilon P200), not by a little, but by ... some 20cm (in length). So I bought two of them, one for me, one for a friend... now it will cost us arround 20punds just to return the items. I wonder... you will cover the cost of returning shipping? :) That will be honorable thing to do, since is not my fault. By the way: that Overboard deck bag did a perfect job in my last trip, in Danube Delta, although ... the OB logo is a little bit ... confusing :P

Hi Catalin, I'm sorry to hear that the spraydecks did not fit as expected. I'm afraid we can only advise on sizes going by the size charts provided to us by the manufacturer, and the measurements given to us by yourself. Beckii has advised as best she can going by the measurements you gave, and she did make it clear in her email that we can not 100% guarantee that the spraydecks would fit. You are welcome to return these to us for a full refund, however you will need to cover the cost of postage as per our T&C's. Unfortunately after a week , I had to email them to find out when the item had been posted. To find it had been forgotten about with apologies. However, sent and recieved 2 days later. Buoyancy aid looks ok, not used yet as it's a present for someone.
