Ergonomic Designs is a UK based family owned company, and began trading in August 2001. Since then, we have come a long way and more recently we have branched out and now sell a range of kitchen sinks and taps as well as our better known bathroom products. We believe that every customer deserves the best service and products and realise that every bathroom is different, which is why we sell items from well known brands as well as our own branded high quality, but lower priced items. “We spent over £1000 on bathroom furniture from Ergonomic Designs. We visually checked all items on delivery as demanded but did not check internally. One vanity unit had arrived broken internally which we didn’t notice until it was being installed. As this fell outside of their strict 48 hour window they refused to repair, refund or replace. Consumer rights state that the onus is upon them within the first 6 months to prove that it was not damaged upon delivery. They do not adhere to consumer law. This has left us with an unusable unit and their suggestion was to buy another. Buyer beware.”

Hi, unfortunately damage has to be reported within 48 hours as the manufacturers and courier companies will not accept claims for damage after this. Your order was delivered to you on the 14th August and you did not contact us till the 18th December. After this amount of time the manufacturers will consider the fact that the damage could have occurred whilst in your possession and therefore they will not replace items for free. This is in accordance with consumer law as we do advise you on all emails, and on the delivery notes that you only have 48 hours to report damage. If you had reported the issue within this time, the manufacturer would have collected and replaced the item for free.

“I contacted Ergonomic Designs and was advised that my new kitchen sink would be delivered in 2-3 working days and that it would definitely arrive by the day the fitters from our quartz supplier came to take a template. We went off to London for a couple of days safe in the knowledge that our kitchen wouldn't be delayed and left our house to our builders. The sink hasn't arrived (today is Saturday) so the quartz people have had to be delayed to a later date and as a consequence our kitchen has been put back. Not a happy soul here!!!”

“Cant write review on product yet as ive not even opened the box. On the delivery, yes it came on the day they said i phoned in tge morning to find out eta was told i would be second drop and it would be in the next half hour (happy days) i phoned them an hour later to see when delivery would be now any time in next 3 or 4 hours asked if van driver could phone (which is normal practice these days, sorry not a service they have). About 2 hours later driver phones said he will be here in about 2 hours, so when he was about 1/2 late i phoned his number and he was just near. Maybe if they could give a more accurate or realistic time i would be more willing to recommend 😊”

“I purchased this shower mixer valve after looking at many others. The price was cheaper than I found elsewhere, The purchase process was straightforward and I was well informed about the purchase. I received full information about the delivery and it arrived, well packaged, right on schedule. The mixer valve seems to be of very good quality and the installation was straightforward. The test so far seem fine but this only after one day. I plan to report further after a few months.”

“Excellent, rapid service and delivery. My only adverse comment is that I was not allowed to choose a delivery day or time, yet the product had to be signed for. i suggest that customers should be able to have an input to day/time of delivery.”
