We had charger installed and it worked fine for 12 months (was happy with it ). But it started failing in the very cold weather in dec 2022 (three flashing red lights). When it warmed up it would started working again. But recently it has been going into fault condition more often and I fear will be unusable soon. Sent inquiry to customer support back in dec but no response and continuing to try and get through to them. From other posts it seems like a known/common problem. If this issue was fixed then unit is otherwise ok. UPDATE: Since posting above issue have been in contact with support/Escalations. The unit was removed by installer, I sent back to EO, they fixed whatever component needed replacing, sent back to me and yesterday replaced. All working now (and I hope/trust next winter when it gets cold all will be OK). So I am happy with this outcome (fixed at no expense for me) and have increased rating to 4 (only not 5 because it took until now to get sorted) Am happy with this unit - compact, looks good and now works fully.

I must say how disappointed we are with EO charging . Your customer service is a total disgrace . I loged the complaint 20days ago and I got no response except an email saying you are trying to contact Electric Ireland as they installed it ? . The charger isn't working and when you want to lodge a complaint, your staff says they are short of staff and they can't deal with every customer? 😡. We are planning to file a complaint in consumer court . Installing your charger was a biggest mistake .

EOCharging provide zero customer service, my EO Mini Pro 2 has been broken since the cold weather in December (2 months and counting). I have made multiple calls and sent multiple emails I still have no fix date, they never call back with any updates. Avoid this company and its chargers. -- Update Having posted reviews on here and other review sites, I finally had contact from the escalations team and they arranged for a Mini Pro 3 to replace my Mini Pro 2, they also arranged for a new installation company, who were much better than my previous experiences. I have been asked to update my review, based on the resolution from the escalation team which I am doing now. I am increasing it to 2 stars to give some credit to the escalation team moving quickly. However, if I had not posted a public review I still believe I would be waiting for a resolution and it shouldn't take a public review for a business to take action. Even with the involvement of the escalation team it has taken 3 months to get a new charger sorted.

Installation was great & the first 10 months no issues @ all. When the cold spell hit in December the EO Mini Pro 2 failed to charge because of a known faulty part. 2 months later after many many long waits on calls they still will not commit to an engineer coming out to fix the known fault. They have offered for a 3rd party to come & take it off & i post it back to Scotland for a few weeks & then me again arrange for it to be fitted again 2 more weeks (upto 4 weeks with no charger for a 100% EV car). Never never known such poor after sales service. I have asked to speak to a manager & was refused. Also asked many times for call backs for updates & never had one, i have to ring back & wait for upto 1 hour to be told we can not tell you when a engineer will be available. My original rating was 1 based on the above but since Andrew from the Escalations team @ EO got involved, in less than one week i have a working mini pro 3 installed by a excellent independent installer Nick.

Customer service is good and responsive. Excellent updates on installation, date etc. Overall experience was efficient (website and email) which suited me Actual installation by ev domestic especially good. George was a true professional. Did a superb job and ensured neat and tidy and all explained. Charger looks great and does exactly what we need it to do. Charges quicker than wall plug. App is not important to us and seems to l require set up again and again. Does not impact me but can see why it would be a frustration especially if your vehicle can’t control when it charges etc.

Absolute junk. Honest review here after 12 months or so use of an EO charger. For your own sanity, under NO circumstances purchase an EO charger. Don't believe me? Just take a look at the reviews in the Google Play Store or App Store for the EO App. They couldn't be worse. And for good reason. The charger and software are incredibly unreliable and badly designed. People including myself have CONSTANT issues and there is no sign of anything improving. I made a big mistake but you don't have to.

This is the worst charger I can imagine, the connection is extremely bad, every two or three weeks I get a message on the mobile app "Your MiniProV2 is currently offline, please check the connection" and the worst is, I plug in at night and start charging and after an hour or so it stops charging , and when I check the EO app in my phone it displays the above message. I have a lost confidence on this product and I don't recommend it to anyone. I have contacted the company all they tell you is to check the connection and swich on the power as it jumps off in such a situation. They can't be bothered to source of the problem and fix it . It could be connection is the inherent problem of the product. It is better to spend a bit more and get more reliable charger. This is not a reliable charger at all. Thanks

The whole experience has been great through out. Was kept well informed about installation and the the actual process on the day was done with out any fuss. The installer discussing where best place to put charger and what would be involved. All working as should do.

I used an EO charger at Brandon Wildlife Centre today and was charged £3 for 30 minutes and used 2.2Khw of energy. This is much more expensive than petrol. How can the company justify this cost?

This will have been set by the Wildlife Centre and their charges should have been displayed. Perhaps have a conversation with the responsible party, its disappointing to receive a 1 star rating when this is, in this case, a charger with our logo but not our management of costs charged to you for using the device. We've had the charger for a year with no problems but now we have three flashing red lights and it's not working. The company isn't answering the phone and they said they'd email us back but nothing has happened. We have two EV's so I'm spending most of my time at rapid charging points making sure the cars have enough charge for the next day. I can't afford to have a new one fitted and to be fair this one should be working so at the moment I wouldn't recommend EO chargers.

I have had an EO Mini Pro 2 charger for almost 9 months and it has worked fine until now. However, a week ago it started flashing 3 red lights. I contacted EO customer support and they said that the unit was faulty and needed to be sent back to them for repair. They would contact the installer and arrange for this to be progressed. However since then, silence! Despite chasing by email and on the phone I have heard nothing further about progress/timescales. Rang again this morning and it seems that they have a large number of cases with 3 flashing red lights at the moment - some generic fault with their chargers? Not much good really when I rely on the charger to be able to run my EV. Disappointing service.

Installation was flawless. Supporting app easy to install. But I haven't received my EV yet, so don't know if it works or not.
