my EO mini pro charger is quite neat and tidy, It seems to work reasonably well, but the software app is not up to much keeps going off line. Have email messaged EO twice but part from an acknowledgment of the message I have never received a response/reply to the issues raised. So, if your looking for customer support you probably unlikely to get it. After it's installed you are 'very much on your own with this product. Almost certainly wouldn't choose this brand again

EOCharging provide zero customer service, my EO Mini Pro 2 has been broken since the cold weather in December (2 months and counting). I have made multiple calls and sent multiple emails I still have no fix date, they never call back with any updates. Avoid this company and its chargers. -- Update Having posted reviews on here and other review sites, I finally had contact from the escalations team and they arranged for a Mini Pro 3 to replace my Mini Pro 2, they also arranged for a new installation company, who were much better than my previous experiences. I have been asked to update my review, based on the resolution from the escalation team which I am doing now. I am increasing it to 2 stars to give some credit to the escalation team moving quickly. However, if I had not posted a public review I still believe I would be waiting for a resolution and it shouldn't take a public review for a business to take action. Even with the involvement of the escalation team it has taken 3 months to get a new charger sorted.

I have had an EO Mini Pro 2 charger for almost 9 months and it has worked fine until now. However, a week ago it started flashing 3 red lights. I contacted EO customer support and they said that the unit was faulty and needed to be sent back to them for repair. They would contact the installer and arrange for this to be progressed. However since then, silence! Despite chasing by email and on the phone I have heard nothing further about progress/timescales. Rang again this morning and it seems that they have a large number of cases with 3 flashing red lights at the moment - some generic fault with their chargers? Not much good really when I rely on the charger to be able to run my EV. Disappointing service.

Installation of the basic charger was very quick - less than 30 minutes. So £900 and the labour element feels very expensive. Still waiting for the remote connectivity to be fixed - was promised a return visit. Still waiting as I type this…..

The guy fitting it was great. The device, not so. It looks horrible with the wire and it has yet to be connected to online despite numerous attempts that took up hours of my day.

First charger broke within weeks of use, then took months to get replaced. Charger still doesn't properly detect the car, rate of charge or total charge. App is really basic. Good point is that it's very compact and looks good.

The installation process was appalling. We would never use this company in the future. Still do not have access to the app, waiting for someone to call back with a solution. The guy who came to so the installation was the most helpful and a really nice guy

Unfortunately since having mine installed it’s still not working so I’m still having to wait for the pleasure to charge at home and low and behold the electricians who are the support team don’t work weekends . Which doesn’t help when the customer works all week.

Nice, friendly people when you get through to them...but in the nicest possible way, I'd rather not be speaking to them about my second faulty unit. First was replaced after 3 months' struggling. Another 8 months on and the replacement is now faulty. Process to fix/replace revolves around lots of messages, attempts to fix over phone, rebooting, and plenty of wasted time. No response from support. The app is stoneage and only partially works. Replacement was being mooted over a year ago. Sorry, but I could not recommend this EO mini pro.

I'm trying to be honest here. On the plus side, all the people I contacted from EO and their subcontractor Lowri Beck were polite, helpful, and friendly. The charger works, and I'm only left trying to connect up my wifi and phone with it - a problem apparently to do with the my inadequate router, so not EO's responsibility. However, it's taken quite a while, and the basic problems seem to me to be that: a) we were given far too little information about what we had to do to get the house prepared for the installation, i.e. the removal of floor and skirting boards, b) that this work was our responsibility c) that EO and Lowri Beck did not communicate properly, or at all, resulting in two unhelpful visits, one resulting in a) and b) above; and the other an installer driving down from Glasgow to Newcastle to do the installation, but being unable to do it. d) the delay from ordering the charger (August 2021) to installation (1 November 2021) e) sorting all this out required me to spend quite a lot of time, on email and phone, talking to various EO staff, also Lowri Beck, finding a joiner (not easy!) and a fair amount of patience, which is good practice for me, but So that's the reason for my rating of 'poor'.

I have reported this problem to EO each time it happens but it’s about 4 months since the installation and the problem persists. The charger continues to cut out. I am using overnight off peak energy and therefore rely on this equipment to function correctly unsupervised. The unit seems to start charging and then cut out. If I reset the black box the charger works ok. I just cannot rely on it to function consistently. When it does work it’s great. I have to suspect something is wrong with the installation but I cannot tell what the problem is. If EO cannot resolve this I will pursue them for a full refund and seek out a more reliable system.

The installers were nice people. But they turned up early and unexpected, despite promising a text to let us know their arrival time. It took all day to install the device, which was a bit of a surprise. And they managed accidentally to drill a hole from the meter cupboard through the bathroom wall. The charger looks great, but since we still have no delivery date from Octopus for the car it may be a long wait before we find out whether it works.

Seems a bit buggy, struggled to connect and stay connected to our 2.4/5 GHz WiFi. Setting up on our WiFi process was riddled with errors and having to restart unit. Doesn't correctly display how much charge in vehicle. Says vehicle is charging when the vehicle is fully charged. Only 2 days payment into ownership and already considering a refund.

Two stars for being small. Plug in works well. The app is &%$(*&! useless !!! A password reminder/reset would be a very good idea. The WiFi pickup is absolutely useless, unless it right on top of the modem. Just not very easy to use, actually not much on there............?

Charger installation has been delayed as a result of Covid and several other problems, not really down to EO. Installation took place on Thursday 3rd December. Unfortunately the new unit does not connect readily to our iPhones. Installer advised us to call EO which we did at around 12pm on the 3rd. To date no-one has called back to help us get the home charger up and running. Maybe next week!!

It is usable as a dumb charger, but it couldnt be commissioned because of some software issue. However it is now clear that all i need for a tesla 3 is a dumb charger anyway as the car's built in software is perfectly capable of being programmed to control the charging times. This was not made clear.

Installation was very good and excellent service. I cannot get the EO mini pro2 charge point to register with the EO cloud; it seems to always stall at this point and come up with an error code. Err_5006. The WiFi signal is full strength outside as I have many other devices that verify this.
